Oh good lord yes. Video to Closer is one of the sexiest videos ever.

ryuloulou: thanks for that link.. some yummy refs in there! Love the split lighting you have with the wip so far! His ears look a little low on his skull, if i had to nitpick, but other than that looking very nice.

Timothee: you're on my wavelength there too, looking very nice indeed, nothing nicer than a contemplative vamp lurking on the dark city streets looking sexy. Can't wait to see it fleshed out.

Matthew Campbell: I see where you're coming from, and indeed, who are we to say what's hot and not.. eheheh.. but imagine if this were the brief you'd been given by someone who was paying you to do them a hot male vampire pin up. Would it still be what you would go with? You can still do feral and have him be attractive... and indeed, it doesn't have to be the norm in terms of attractive too, women find that dangerous wild look very attractive too, long as it's not too over done.

    Daray Thank you
Nice sketch, I think his upper arm should be more vertical.

tsujni Interesting pose, but it looks like he will overbalance.

Nike Looks good. It lacks a sexy glance

shardana I wondering if he can close his mouth with these teeths, but it looks good.

DigitallyDumbfounded He seems to be shy, perhaps not really pin up like. Draw his head higher.

    Occidental_Martyr Sexy I like him

alice_ Looks god, I like his face

Jack Frost I like the pose, go on

    zephyri very sexy

Matthew Campbell I like his pose. I think, his anterior leg an foot should be turned mor to the front.

timothee Looks good, his hand in the pocket isn't already correct.

    FunkdaFide I like his face

ryuloulou I live his facial expression, just great

Kroevyn Nice pose and good idea. I think his Soulders should be wider

Sorknes Looks good, his face looks a bit female, I thinks of cause the big eyes.

MEMPER He looks good, but pherharps he could show more skin
    Forgive me my bad english

Nice topic!! Here's my first quick idea. Wanted to actually make it a pinup picture. And a bit cartoony maybe, though I really do like the more realistic paintings of vampires I've seen so far. Don't know how it will turn out

A friend asked if I was doing Chow, I said I was too busy... Then she said the topic and I said "Yes, I'm doing the Chow" Thanks for picking something girl-friendly

And dudes who bow out of these things just because they have to draw a guy are exactly the type of guy who should be doing it and learning from it. Big respect to the guys giving it a try! Remember girls don't need to see as much skin, so you don't even have to make something that racy for it to be super hot to a girl... It's so much about the emotion, so concentrate on the pose and face! And actual naked dudes aren't usually that pretty no matter how into guys you are.

Posh you obviously know the clothes can be half the sexiness, and a good example of a hot dude with chops would be Hugh Jackman ala Wolverine...

Timothee and ryuloulou yours are looking great too.

Zephyri - not my type but definitely got the pinup vibe nailed!

Xaya - looks great so far but I think it could be way better if you just make his eyes focusing on the viewer... Not that sexy to be ignored, right?

Etrix - you were thinking along the lines I was going to explore today - not all vampires should be buff Greco-Roman muscle gods with pale white skin; I think you can also go the vampire route of slim/trim/emo types wit pre Raphaelite features.

Memper - you've got the coat buttoning on the wrong side. Technically that would be a woman's suit coat the way you have painted it. Also, there's nothing that says "pinup" - perhaps it's the pose, perhaps it's the angle, or the fact that he isn't making eye contact with the viewer. The body language is everything in pin-ups.

General note - This is definitely a brief where the pose and body language count a great deal - almost crucial to selling it. The brief is for Hot Male Vampire Pinups, not just male vampires...

I'm not sure if I'm violating the rules but what good is a vampire w/o a victim?

Joey-b I really like your sketch so far, esp how you're layering the brushes. Right now the greatest issue I have is the stiffness of the hands, make sure you fix those or put them in another pose.

Ryuloulou: I love the lighting, cool, just make sure you add an effect to show the guy is burning up because that looks like sunlight.

ryuloulou- I like the direction you're taking, nice new wave look.
zephyri- Thanks! Your piece has some nice detailing, I'm waiting to see it colored.
    skorpi- Thanks for the comment.
xaya- Nice start so far. His face looks a bit stiff, maybe try relaxing it a little.

    Hey guys,

i posted an initial sketch on page 1.
You guys gave me some great advice (like the angle of the face etc). Many thanks for that.

Now i have another problem though... i dont know what to do with his legs/feet. It seems in whatever position i place them.... they dont fit

    Any ideas?

Chow 108 :: Hot Male Vampire Pinup

    Great works here btw!
I think some need to rework a bit on the "hotness" of their vampire though.

Im glad you worked further on your picture joey-b. Those wings are awesome.
I dont like the highlights on his arms too much though :/ Theyre maybe too sharp?
