Icon Albert Wesker Custom Statue - Resident Evil Degeneration & Resident Evil 5

    Hey Everyone,

I have been working on this custom project for a long time now and just finished it. Please leave comments regarding the paint job and the sculpting(Pose), feel free to let me know what you think of Wesker. I am still finishing up the base, but it will be on display at the next Capcom Gamers day event along with other props to celebrate the theatrical release of the new CG movie Resident Evil–Degeneration along with the upcoming video game Resident Evil 5.

    Thanks, Chris

I have always been a Wesker fan, very nice job. I particularly like the way you addressed his clothing and pose, gives it a great sense the movement.

About how tall is it? it a little hard to tell from the pictures but I figure it to be about 30 cm.

    Very sweet sculpt.

    Good work,
the pose is very dynamic, looks like a bullettime stillpicture.
    the paintjob seems very professionell.
do you have a publisher for the statue yet ?

Yep, the Scale is 1/6 or 30cm. Gaya Entertainment a German Company is looking into it and still pondering what they want to do. I have a feeling they will want to go with the Captain. Wesker version from Resident Evil: Umbrella Cronicles. which I didn't sculpt but they will choose one or the other not my decision. Either way I think the Japanese company's will be very interested in it. Thanks, Chris

I love it, however i find it a strange decision to have the empty hand not actualy touch the gun/hand. its just very close to it, but not really there.

for me that doesnt make the most sense i must say.

How did you make the glasses? they are great

Great observation the reason I did that is because I couldn't fit the gun in the hand without removing the clip first so I decided to leave space to show people that the clip was removable and that the clip inside contains bullets. When I get time I will take a photo. Its pretty cool. Attention to detail all the way.

The glasses are made out of a clear plastic sheet printed from a computer using photoshop. It can be easily done from a local kinko's or photo store. Hard Part was getting the right size and shape of the glasses. Photoshop skills are needed to do this. Did you notice Weskers Demon eyes through the lenz, pretty frinkin Sweet. huh

I thought Evangelion had like big anime robots and stuff. I actually got the gun from a model shop who specializes in model weaponry the entire gun can be dismantled and put back together. made partially out of metal and plastic parts. I will upload a picture later of the clip that comes out showing the bullets inside.

but they used real guns at robot proportions. on mine all the bits come apart too but no clip, it all in plastic. you should watch the series if you havent already seen it. must be from the same mould...... or possibly not.

but lets not get too off topic.

close ups of the model or bigger versions of the images as well, as the ones up there do not give it justice.

but amazing sculpt all the same. great job. was it a personal job or comission?

The design is truly amazing, especially the gun. However, the pose and model of the statue has a very similar resemblance to my Agent Smith statue which I purchased a few years ago in Japan. Did you just use the agent Smith as a base for your design and just model from there?
