Great stuff! Lots of character.
Shsh about bad faces - these are good. Perhaps work on figures/hands?
I really enjoy that Wonker piece, and the first IDIOT made me laugh.
I don't know what to tell you about painting with the wacom, since I'm new at both painting and the wacom (I've had a wacom for almost 9 months, but only started seriously trying to learn anything some 3 months ago, fancy that).
Perhaps play with the opacity/flow of the brushes more (make them lower), as not to have such abrupt brush strokes, and experiment with different brushes. Or something.
Keep them coming
Thanks Discoskull. Im just getting used to the idea of digital image making really, I find it completely different and quite weird really, Its not comparable to jumping media, its very unquie as Im sure you are aware.
Heres an acrylic paint job and a pastel drawing.
Oh and some other face i forgot, he predates the idiots.

red hair and boob,...
stop calling all of ur faces idiots, i see a lot of good ones! and there is definitely progress since the first post! so if u are enjoying urself with it, just continue it will end up somewhere good

My sketchbook: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...106521&page=11
first was a scrapped idea for this weeks cow, secound is my 'current' idea for this weeks cow. Probably change idea again, eerrg.
Neat style, very expressive. I like the way you use colour. You're very unself-conscious in your work.
Loving the updates dude!
Creature designs sweet. You should to an entire bazaar with insectoid tents/stalls like that CHOW.
Really dig the one with the bird and the (severed?) head.
Perhaps use bigger brushes in a couple spots (white chick's shoulder, frog-fish's brow/head maybe).
Mister Lister - thanks dude, I think he was the only one that was properly resized, possible too small aswell. anyways thanks for the comment.
Dave - nice one.
ajvenema - I like calling them idiots! Yeah things are blurry right now, Im gonna sharpen up tho and get this act together. TBH, Ive only recently been able to really draw uninhibited with the graphics tablet... thats no excuse but I going to start puting more detail in / paying attention to finishing. Thanks for the comment and looking.
Madfishmonger - Thanks, I'll fish out your SB and have a look.
DiscoSkull - Iv only just got round to putting slight bits of details into things, I dont think I have the paticents or skill to paint anything more than a face or creature atm. Thanks for being positive, I will use bigger brushes fo sure.
just some stuff!!!
It reminds me of valkyries from a Wagner opera - the viking breast cup spirals, and the birdiness. About the faces from your previous post (they're fun and varied!) they kind of miss the colour play that was found in your first posts. There was something electric about that. Nevermind me, they're still great faces.

I like some of the stuff you got going in here man. Keep plugging away , and dont be satisfied with your current level , is some of the best advice i ever got , even though my stuff isnt that great , i still go for a higher level, so really that's all I can say.
Ev'sSketchbook for the lazy minded but willing!
Help an artist, leave a critique.
ChrisKash - Thanks for the props. The original faces were real experimentations and simply fun to do. Im not sure if I should have posted the last bunch of faces as they were such little sketches that my learning from doing them was probably so subtle that it doesnt demonstrate progression.
I think Im going to keep this SB for my 'better' works unless Im really happy about any little pieces Ive done...anyways. Like your SB btw. POST MORE PICS!
Evxyza92 - YES, very true. I think i need to take more time over pieces and not be soo quick to stop. This last image im trying should take a fair while to get completed but I'll stick at it.
Sci Fi duder - WIP.
I think I'll end up putting both arms in and widening the canvas, get a background going too. This is probably the first 'concept' kind of piece I have tried yet. It will probably be quite generic but Im just seeing if I can be patcient. Posting this will have to motivate etc.
I havent done much lately.
Great start to this sketchbook! I had a good chuckle at the Simmons Wolverine....
I almost don't want to enter the Stylized challenge this month if that's your entry! You'll definitely win/place/show, and I'll be left in the dust
Keep up the good work!
I looked at yours, now you look at mine...sketchbook here
"The doctor said I wouldn't have so many nosebleeds if I kept my finger outta there." - Ralph Wiggum
"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level." - Quentin Crisp
"Ordinary morality is only for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
Madhatter - DONT BE DAFT! Were all here to learn and enjoy other peoples work and I really enjoyed your CHOW this week (you got my vote), so you saying that is a great compliment but you should submit a piece. It'll be fun. Thanks for the props yeah.
random wip that ive mucked about with when resizing. Will try finish soon and post it up.
