Hey Catukas! Thank you for commenting in my SB. I wanted to let you know since you asked, that you can get Vpose (Virtual Pose) 1,2, or 3 at pretty much any Barnes & Nobel in the US, or online at http://www.virtualpose.net/. They should have some samples too that you can play with. I think it is nice cause you can rotate the figure 360 degrees.

Btw - Your sketch book is coming along really well. I like the sketching and digital stuff alot. I also see the anime influence which is cool. I think like me though, some anatomy studies would really help improve your work. Either way, I like it, so keep it up!

    Hello Cätlyn.
Nice sketchbook you have here, I see that you have it for a longer
time, you should post and update it more regularly.
You have some talent and potential, you just need to work harder,
read books and follow some tutorials.
I like your work especially the painting in the post #8, I do not
know, why do you think that you are bad at background painting,
    cause this piece shows contrary.
I also like the ink or ballpoint pen drawing in post #80.
I wish you many good joyful moments in your further art
journeys. I will try to follow your work, and help you with
some advices, but of course, only if you agree with that.
Take care now, and keep posting your
    beautiful work.

Ramalooke:My scanner is right now not working. Pictures will come next month. Cheers to you too.
aks9:Thanks. I love animals. Drawing humans is like a paranoid, but is a need. I love playing with layers in PS!
witcrack:Thanks. I will try to practise more and update.
    qlotzan:Thanks. I will try.
r-t-a :Last I studied loomis fun with pencil. And I must say it helped me alot. I also got inspiration from others sketchbooks and on dA. Drawed others pictures and now drawing faces is like playing with toys. Thanks for the replay. I am happy that people see talent in me and I do not wanna disapoint You.
Masayasu:You are welcome. I got Vpose, it will come in handy. You are right like the other. Practise will not harm.
    Sean McClain:Thanks.
    artistcaleb:Thank you!
LtPlissken:Maybe because I am done so few b ackgrounds, and background can be so many different things. It is great that you will help me. And Thank you!
    Vumi:I promise more animals.
FootstepsBeckon:Like I said. Updates will come next month.

nice updates I see here! I like the lion and wolf sketches from the first page a LOT - they are really great. I like your colour use but at the moment I think it would be wise to try and nail the pencil as much as possible. It really gives you such a good foundation that I can't recommend it enough!

Hello! Looks like you're having fun I much like your pencils and I hope you update with more traditional stuff. Are you drawing more portraiture? Draw from life, it will solve a lot more problems accurately than drawing from other artists who will make mistakes as well, no matter how good they are.

haha lol plissken ur comments are epic.

catukas.. where is that name from ??

ur drawings are looking better and better.. tho i suggest some anatomy studys cause the proportions in ur drawings are most of the times off.. like a arm to long.. or whatever.. its not that it bugs the viewer imo.. but i have the feeling that could make some of ur drawings stronger.

and update more often.. just make a picture with ur phone and post it.. i do the same lol .

    Hello Cätlyn.
I wish you a happy New Year.
It is good to see you back, surprising us with such a nice amount of
new drawings. Bridgman and Loomis books are useful, however,
I think that I like more the Loomis books over Bridgman. You did
a very good job referencing your drawings from them. Not to talk
about your imaginative pieces, they are looking awesome. No
wonder, cause you are an awesome person. Face studies also
look very interesting, I like the clean and sensible lines that you
draw. If I would just have such a great skills at your age, I would
be a master artist today already. So, keep your head high, work
with the pace, as you did till now, read more books, study more,
and success and a bright future is guaranteed for you.
    Cheers.

You got nice cartoonish animals, but human anatomy requires practice. But it's nice to see you back, and a Happy New Year!

I really love your style! All of the volutes in your animal's fur are quite lovely

In scanning, try to up the contrast a bit, sometimes it's so bright that it's difficult for us to see the lines you've drawn!

Great stuff going on! lol its actually pretty nice to see some animal doodles after drawing so many regular humans myself. Though I would love to see some more expressions out of your character's heads! The way you draw them really offer themselves to some really expressive emotions. But who am I to say lol, my faces are horrible. Anyways keep up the drawing!

    Hey!

    Head uut aastat!

I'm glad I checked out your SB again. You have been busy as I can see. Like many other have said, the animals and creatures are utterly awesome. The work ethic is encouraging too.

The good thing that appears to me is that you have a balance of studies and imaginative work, that's always more than welcome

I wish You persistence and energy to keep on going - keep on posting!

    Best wishes

Thanks for dropping by my SB.
    Great, lots of face studies!
Remember to build the forms around masses and with planes to get a good solid form and it's much easier to figure out shadows etc. that way. I hope this helps, keep it up!
