You've definately improved from the first pieces, good job on that! Continue with the life studies, though. Your lines are improving but could still be cleaner.
I really like your animal studies, they're very strong!
    Great job~

You've got some potential. If you want to improove your techniques in cartoonish\manga style i recommend you a book "How to draw Anime & Game Characters Vol.1 Basics for Beginners and Beyond". If you need, i can send you my scanned copy on email There's a lot of usefull stuff.

Btw on your last drawing right foot is flat and twisted too much

You're getting better, but I think you should try and slow down a bit. Maybe put your characters in an environment?

    Keep going.

Hey, thanks for stopping by my SB.
I see alot of nice stuff here, and people have seemed to already give some good advice. Like Zelda Geek suggested, put one of your characters in an enviroment perhaps? Patience is key (something I lack )
On the latest piece, I think the legs look a little strange because it seems there is no space between them, or rather, there doesn't seem to be any hip bone. Studying people in motion gives a good idea of how the mechanics work and what bone goes where.
Places like http://www.posemaniacs.com/ and http://www.characterdesigns.com/ are good resources. You are doing good, keep it up.

nice update. the perspectice seems a bit confusing, it looks like we're seeing it from somewhere above. Therefore I think you should suggest where the horizon-line is, just so there's no confusement And I don't really see what the red smoke has to do with the rest of the picture. Btw, I like the previous skull more. good to see some more enviro-stuff though. You're doing great. Keep it up!!

I continued my environment (crits? tips? advise?):
I think the ground is lighter than the sky, well it looks like it anyway. The ground is pretty much never lighter than the sky.(Unless theres a secondary light, like a street lamp or reflections going on). Take a look out your window, at different times of the day.
Other than that, its a pretty cool picture, keep working on it!

Your sketches are kind of cute, keep on drawing, you!

Hi! nice paintings, I like your use of colours. Though they are a bit too saturated for me, the blending works really good. I like to see you're doing anatomy and they're getting better bit by bit. My only advice would be to do them more frequently (one hour practice everyday wouldn't hurt, would it? ) oh and please update this thread often! You have potential, anyone can see that.

    Until your next update then.

I'm making mess here: Sketchbook .
    also on dA and blogspot

I think you're talented and am impressed at your paintings and animal drawings/sketches.

I think the first piece in post #47 has a lot of potential and would look great when worked into further. The acrylic tiger painting in post #37 is also very nice. Keep up your studies, (Posemaniacs, Loomis, working from reference) and you'll surely see results.
