ouch... how do i make that smaller?
try resizing that in photoshop or some other software you got, but not bad for (almost 13). work on your linework is all i can say. keep posting ill help you out with any problems you encounter.
in teh program it says that its about 5x5. it gets bigger when i put it here. by the way, my scanner is crappy, so some of the things i scan look horrible and grainy, so be warned (this not being one of them)
here is another from ref (the earrs are wayyyy off...)
i need to do some life drawing...
Another quickie, this one is for a game that i am making in macromedia flash. Very undetailed, but i like it.
one tip i can give is work on light contour lines first before you do any sort of sketching. try getting it correct that way whatever your drawing it give and outline of the details later, i hope this helps
Here is a tank I drew. Inked it with a ruler.
sorry about the eraser lines... couldn't get rid of them...
K, thanks! yah, the proportion is way off. i will redraw... will have to learn how to do perspective properly (shameful, i know)
wow your 12..
i was terrible at that age
i like the still life, how you just went after everything, and didnt skip things because they might have been too challenging..you should post some more...
thx! I dont really like still life though... prefer some more active drawings (like people fighting, or cars)
by the way lost im gonna try to redraw the tank... but i might not get to it today (stupid 5th period teacher )
just keep practicing everyday man, plus i wanna see more more MORE. heck give me Blood, oh the sweet metallic taste of blood.. mmm. oh! umm.. yea dude i wanna see more posts. come on i dont want to have to kick your butt just to get you drawing. lol
sorry, heres a quick one i did at school after i was done with a math test... more coming soon (i am setting aside time every night 2 draw now)
Ps sorry about awkward cropping ... damn scanner
am having lots of trouble with the vanishing point... any seb tutorials would be great!
hey dude good job with the backpack, but for the vanishing point umm...
try this http://mathdl.maa.org/convergence/1/...477&bodyId=598 hope it gives you an idea on that.
that may have been the worst tutorial in the history of tutorials to scour this earth. but yah i get the idea... sort of
k, here is a new one today. did it during school, so it is on lined paper. its a still life of a overhead projector from my teachers class.

Here is a soldier that i drew at night. there are some quick character sketches along with it of his gun and gun/briefcase.
does anyone know any websites with some tutorials for inking art. i wanted to draw a comic, but i dont really have the inking skills.
here is a pencil sharpener and dorr handle. the door handle was metal... and i suck at drawing metal.
Big sketch dump:2 pics done at school today. im pretty proud of the faces (the little ones). Tried out pen for the first time. the soldier guy is a pic about 6 months old, spent about an hour if i remember.
nod if yuo can hear me
how much time do you spend on some of the bigger stuff like the pencil sharpener? maybe you should try focusing on just one item, be it a face a random object like a stapler or a shoe or whatever and just draw it for an hour, and really focus on the details, and the shadows that it casts, and getting the proportions right in perspective? it might help you a lot to just do one thing instead of jumping around from object to object.
best of luck.
