    id suggest using a lighter tan color in the groves between the larger scales i find it to look awesome, but other than that i dropped my jaw on the floor

    texture

    I've always wondered how to do texture on a creature like a dragon or dinosaur?

    Did you carve each bump/scale, etc in the skin OR use something with a similar surface and press it into the clay?

    Anyway, this was a commission based on JP3 Spino that its not a totally accurate Spinosaurus.

    But this color make sens now with the explanation of our friend undeadsac

    You have to use the stamps as a guide, and the correct them on by one.

    This is totally amazing!! o.O I was completely speechless when I saw your dino's the first time... xD how much would one of these cost? (A)

    Oh, and what type of clay would you recommend for a beginner like me? epoxy or super sculpey? which is the easiest to work with?
