Hey TB. I've been creeping your sketchbook for a while. I voted it 1 star to try and help you out for whatever it's worth :<
Also, haha what's wrong with cubism? I love it!
At any rate, how're you doing on your formal studies? I see lots of drawings from imagination, which is fine, but I'd like to see more gestures, drawings from life, and other observational things. I know you keep multiple sketchbooks, so maybe you're doing them but not uploading it?
Well, speaking of comics... that's mostly what I've been doing recently. That and watching German cartoons. Though I did just order some Loomis and Bridgman books so maybe there's still hope for me yet. Attachment 1305087
Oh I love the little vampire comic. I really like the style of it, and also think you have gotten the sequential narrative style down very well. Can I ask what brush you were using? I really like the feel of it.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think it's one of the default "charcoal brushes" from Photoshop with Dual Brush setting on. What other brush it uses on the Dual Brush I have no idea and it's possible that it's one of the brushes I've downloaded from someone long ago but it only gives bit texture that's not really noticeable if you work in large size.

And on other news, I may have finally found a replacement for my old crappy looking but good cheap sketchbook. Another insanely cheap and crappy looking sketchbook! I haven't tested it fully yet, but it's so promising that I went and bought two more. Attachment 1307321
Look, it actually scans good because it's bound so that it lies flat when opened minimizing any blurryness when scanned! ~happiest day of my lyfe!
