Thanks ninja. It came out quite well for never having drawn a baby before i think. My sister almost gave birth premature and had to go on bed rest for two months, it sucked, so i made that picture for her. Rebecca was born with no complications though.

Alrighty, last post till I wake up and finish this guy.

    Cheers all

Wow, great WIP's! There's something a little funky about his perspective vs the ground plane's perspective. Now that I look at it more, I think the figure appears to be below the viewer and looking slightly up at the camera, while the ground plane suggests a camera view that's closer to the ground and and at a lower angle. This is where the confusion is originating methinks.

Great job on the colors too, just make sure it doesn't get too monochromatic. I'd recommend circulating those sickly green tones around a bit.

    Moar!

    Thanks guys, and great crits.

I hear you on the ground plane. I just grabbed a texture real fast and was like...clunk, just to get something down there. When i go into the actual painting of the ground it will look better....i hope. And i was actually going for a monochromatic color scheme lol, and then i wanted the skin of him to pop a little by being a very cool desaturated color. Thought it would be a nice contrast if this really hot furness guy had cold lifeless skin.

Anyhoot, thanks for the crits and look forward to hearing what everyone thinks.

Here is an update, almost there...

    Cheers

Starting the turn around now as well. I forgot to screen grab the very first step, but its pretty much that scribbly leg you see, and i cheated and copied the head from my other painting and just slapped it on the body cause it was looking straight at the viewer anyway. Goooo shortcuts!

Ok....im not done with the first guy yet, i kind of moved onto the turn around and while doing the turn around i kind of wanted to do another character based on the same premise, this will also show game studios that I can create characters based in the same world and or area...i think. Anyhoot, i did a sketch this time to start, though i usually dont spend that much time in that stage and move right on into values.
