Can someone please upload Camel Hair Brush.xml from painter 5.5?

    Hi there,

I'm trying to get the old camel hair brush to work on painter X but unfortunately I don't have the CD to get it from the old brushes folders.

I've also checked Ryan Church website and have downloaded his brushes, but since I am not sure if that is the one I'm looking for I was making this topic to see if someone could send me the brush so I could import on to Painter X.

the brush I'm refering too is this one mentioned by Jin:
camel hair (5.5) - (the correct name for this brush variant is Camel Hair Brush) on the Painter IX CD: CPainterIX > Extras > Brushes > Painter 5 Brushes > Brush

    and also here:

my email in case someone wants to send directly to me: brunopicinini@gmail.com

    Cheers
    Bruno

Sorry, but we can't distribute parts of the Painter program as it would be a violation of the license agreement to do so.

Considering that, it's best for you not to ask anyone to do so.

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!

    Hi Jin,

thanks for the answer. I was thinking that ryan have his brushes to download on his website, couldn't you do the same? please? hehe

Can't you make some modifications on the size, save as "Jin's Brush" and then send it to me? Then it wouldn't be violation, it's just a custom brush that you are sending

Sorry for bothering you, but really, I just want to have that brush hehe, otherwise I will have to contact my friend to get back my CD so I can have the brush (but it will be hard since right now I'm living in a different country hehe).

    Cheers,
    Bruno.

brunopicinini, i think you can do basicly the same camel hair brush in brush creator in painter x! just select round camelhair from oils, press 'ctrl+b' and choose dab type: circular and subcategory: grainy soft cover.

    hope it will help.

    hey buddy

it did really help, but since I can't really compare to the old brush, I don't know if the results are the same as the old brush ... but so far so good, good brush to use

    thanks!

but if any good soul would still like to help me, please do =)
