oh, and i dont know who moderates this place, but ill bet you ten bucks somebody tells you to keep all your stuff in one thread.
These look great, post all your figures in here to, you should just pack it all in one thread! If I end up back at SLCC it won't be the same without you!
trying to put all my stuff in one sketch book, but i did leave some figure drawings in charcoal in a critique thread, that i'm looking for so harsh suggestions. give it to me baby.

i think this study helped a lot by changing the way i think/see when i paint. most recent painting.
Some paintings for a illustration class..
It was a pleasure checking this out.
Life is like a box of chocolates, when you're a fat glutton it lasts shorter.
I liked the charcoals in post 12 the best. I think these works could be very compelling indeed in you had a specific schema or modus operandi about how you make marks. Sometimes it looks like you are just going in whatever direction spontaneously occurred to you. Be calculating about the marks and I think you can hypnotize a lot of people.
finally a new painting, its been too long. I'm trying to get back into the groove again.
some portraits i've done, and i do like them, but i notice a few wrong things that i wish i could fix, wish i did them in oils. i like the girl one because of the malcolm liepke feel to it.
I see you are well on your way into the world of color. I'm really liking these paintings, keep it up man. I'll stay tuned for more updates.
Sketchbook!! Please help me improve!
yes two old portraits, one of them is me, a self portrait. the other is a check that kept falling asleep.
Keep the updates coming Pokemon! Lets see some NEW stuff!
Impressive oil work! I can see all of your hard work doing studies translating into those illustrations. Thanks for visiting my sb.
Relatively new, Two oil paintings were for an illustration class, illustrating a children's book about beauty and the beast, the scenes are beauty's lost father finds beasts castle, and beast turns to prince. also there is a ink sketch for an idea for a tattoos, two headed calf. then two sketch studies with ink, watercolor, and white pastel pencil. and the last one was a pencil sketch for a friends band, started the the oil painting but never finished. got busy with school work. i'm slacking i know.
Wow Michael! You have a lot of diversity in your work. On the pinkish figure drawing, were you making those multiple marks sawing back and forth on purpose, or were you just trying to work your way into a groove? I like the modeling on her face.
