    Drawer´s diary

Welcome to my Sb. Next summer I want to apply to an art school in Germany. My aim: Get into school and become an Illustrator. My challenge:
Draw everyday about 6-10 hours and post it here. I hope you enjoy my "drawer´s diary" and as always feel free to criticize or comment.
The first update will be coming soon.

Great start to your sketchbook! I really like the dog and the cat.

I'm just a beginner, so I can't offer much advice other than keep drawing! Practice really does make a difference. Just make sure you're focusing on what you're learning from each drawing, not just copying.

Please take a look at my sketchbook

I'm just a beginner, but I'm trying desperately to get better.

hey warforce i like the new updates, looks like your progressing very well. althought i can help you with the still lifes. try making a light contour line first make sure it correct and also make sure it is the same object that you are drawing. then once youve got that down the shading and details only come easy. i hope this helps, best of luck man

I think I definitely see progress here, it looks like your proportions went from people looking in one of those fun house mirrors to realistic, especially with the shrek characters, those look pretty good imo. I also like the spider. thanks for stopping by my sb

WoW! You've had a lot of really good progress. You're definitely getting better at showing form in your drawings. Great work... keep it up!

good stuff. keep it up! i would just suggest some smudging on your pencils.. hehe well, that's what i do. ^^ i just think that your sketches are too dark and the lines are too hard, maybe smudging them would help.

hi, your definetely showing improvement especially with that spider but i think you should place a bit more emphasis on line as some of the rendered sketches start to look a bit blurry

Agreed. Everything is getting too bogged down with shading and it's coming off a bit messy. The sketch you did of your teacher, though it's kind of hard to see as it is so small, looks really good.

I would say lay off the MS Paint. You'll learn much more focusing on drawing. Besides, MS Paint is a piece and has very limited capabilities. Try getting your hands on some real paints and brushes and start painting. Might have to save up a bit of cash to get a decent startup kit, but it's worth the investment.

Good luck, and keep at it!
