Shit man sorry. Your picture captures the feeling. I've been recently laid off as well. I felt the same but it turned out to be a good thing. I am short on cash but I finally have a lot of time to work on my portfolio. It's worked out for the best. Things will turn out for you. That's what everyone here is for, to help each other. We have to make connections, push each other forward and move up in this industry.

Hey man keep working hard. Somthing will come up again and when it does, it as well as yourself be better. Good things happen to people who wait, I just wish that was the same with bills. If you don't mind what was the job that you lost?

Keep it up. And have a beer.

I can feel you brothah. In the same boat here m'self. I feel like Sketch. Slowly I've been getting a little more of my soul back each day. Had a chance to get back to my roots while I have this short span of freedom from the man.

so they fired one of the next generation of artists whose work will rock the shelves once it hits them? their fault!

all the people here are right:
take the additional time you have, improve, do more, learn... until finally you come back.
let them know whom they laid off!

btw, this drawing is really great! it's got a great tension between the upper and lower part!
hang in there, my friend. if you want to talk, feel free to e-mail(gekitsu@polycount.com) or pm me.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your job Oblio. There's always an upside to things like this though. This is an opportunity for you now to improve your art unhindered bud. Things happen for a reason, take advantage of it.

BTW, awesome sketch. This is powerful, simple, yet powerful, you can definitely feel this piece, which is awesome.
