I still am feeling the power from the last workshop. Really great to see friends, familiar faces, and forum members I've never met before. I'm always blown away by everybodies ideas and different creative processes.
Bleh! Enough gushing.
So here's a few things old and new.
First up, some of you heard a few tunes at the workshop I was producing. That album is now available for free download on my site. www.phfx.com
25 tracks including 4 from live performances from this year. Some pretty pictures too.
This is about two years worth of work.
Mostly experimental score type music. I've been told it's nice to draw to by a few people.
It's called DIN.
He started out as a small ink drawing done with a brush pen. Then painted up in Photoshop.
Another brush pen massacre.
This one's a bit old, but I haven't poster here in over a year. Also brush pen.
Even older. Concept design for an animated feature film that still dangerously hangs in limbo.
Last one before I go. Not brush pen. Happy Face Wishbone.
Busy times here at R&H. We are currently working on 7 films! And now that the strike is over more are on the way.
Also in studio news, we won a BAFTA for our work on Golden Compass and we are nominated for an Academy Award as well. I just shot a featurette for the Academy as well.
I'll be posting some of the new stuff I've been working on next week. Characters, monsters and fine art stuff mostly.
Until then. Keep it funky art fiends.
Well GeeWiz. This is fantastic, man. Totally loving... hell, all of it. The lighting in #5 is just killer. Always diggin' your work.
yeah, this one is the best:

I have to agree, i really love the strangehead piece, It surprises me how much skill is needed to leave a piece in a "rough" state and know that not pushing it further is the right choice.... something i def need to learn *adds to list*
