    Eating like it's my Job

    11-25-08

Clochette: Thanks, who isn't a fan of Mr. Woods. I think you're right, the thing I appreciate most about his work is the energy.
Feil Magnus: Thanks for the crit. you are totally right, those enviros need more attention. They are kinda old though, so I'm going to just do new ones keeping in mind the things you pointed out. Wish me luck!
JesArt: Thanks for the compliments. In my opinion Ringling is a solid school. The time I spent there taught me more than I would have expected. All I had going in was drive, and my FIRST sketchbook (exciting times!) I had no idea how to use photoshop.....and yes I am a dude, wait let me check. Yep, still a dude.
kuwakovski: Sweetness, thanks be with you.
    Vorace: Thanks
donalfall: glad to have you here! Are you in Sarasota currently?
    Mbyle: gracias
    Nadiamoon: much thanks
    EKOes: glad you dig it!
JoshK: Thanks dude, don't we all
SQuiP: mixed media es mi favorite
Grafguy: you caught me, I've got loads of Jamie Hewlett stuff (I hope I spelled his name right!)
Jeff Bartzis: haha, welcome back? Glad you like what you see

Anyone else out there stretching their stomach in preparation for thursday?

I've got some new personal stuff, I'm trying to think ivisually simpler, in an attempt to keep my compositions stronger overall. so.....I DID MORE INK STUFF! woot. I have been diggin' on Alberto Breccia. DANG! that is some B&W gold! (if you don't know about him google him for sure)

Hope all is well with everyone, and thanks for dropping in. Anything you guys think of would be much appreciated, critique, insight, restaurant recommendations.

    all the best,
    -Tamte

    back from the abyss

    3-21-09

    Sup Conceptart.org!!!

Jens: glad to hear it man, thanks!
interstellar: thanks much, that makes me happy to hear
Dan Valkar: gracias, I'm glad you used the "s" word
    OmertA:cool!
Timmy the TurtleThanks Timmy, I feel like that piece was definitely a benchmark for me
JesArtgood luck with getting in man, let me know how it ends up. I'm crossing my fingers for ya!
ClochetteThanks yo! I hadn't thought about adding color to these, if I did it would be more tone than color. I have some reservations about how I would execute that. I'll do some experimenting. Thanks for the suggestion
D@nielThanks dood, I'm a fan of what you do
monsithanks, I'll do my best to keep it coming
    BillThanks a mill

It feels like i've been moving around the freaking world after leaving Midway in Austin (due to a certain company filing chapter 11) Which is a bummer cause the guys on the team there were really solid. ::sigh:: Anyway, for anyone who is interested I am working with a gentleman named William Joyce in Shreveport Louisiana. Doing children's book/film work. A change of pace, but a welcome one. Thanks for stopping in here, and thanks for all the kind words those are nice. Crits are always encouraged too.

On another note, I'll be at the workshop in Dallas so if we run into each other say "HEY" or something. Till next time ya'll.

I really love your work , It oozes personality. I love the little kids kissing, SO cute.
The lady with the layers of clothing is awesome too.
Gotta love the penguins as well, I have a weakness for penguins.

I wish I could critique something but unfortunately I'm not good enough to yet. :<

Gaahhh!!! I've been so busy with my own sketchbook and school that I've been missing all your updates... FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS!

Horrible. I've truly been missing out. Wonderful, incredible work.

This sketchbook still makes me very happy. Gonna pay more attention to it!
