    Match 6 here.

I vote for zephyri! Her piece was top notch and was sad to see her get knocked out.

Tell me about it man. Shit! I usually trust my instinct, and develop the first viable idea that springs to mind. Looks like my instinct's on vacation. Gotta....think!!!

Thanks for the props guys. I'm gonna think on this for 24 hours, cause I honestly feel that both Inverted Chalupa (MIke Bierek) and Zephyri had amazing entries which I'd feel odd about jumping ahead of. Plus I don't want to look like I whined my way back in haha

BTW, what was with Mike (Chalupa) not winning? Did people think he did a paintover or something? I love flaptraps's work and it was nice meeting him at the workshop, but honestly I would have picked Mike's any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Zephyri's I can understand cause Posh pulled out a big one on this. But I just feel both those pieces (not to mention RoboGabo's) seriously squashed me into the dust.

Disclaimer: not that i'm not seriously honoured - especially by Nicolas himself saying so - sneaky bugger trying to get out of it haha

nic, you will be missed badly!
maybe with the new deadline you can still participate?
if not, i like the dirty c add as suggested.

good luck to all in match 16 with me!
i just researched you all and i'm now officially intimidated.
but it should be a blast regardless

Ah what the fuck. Though personally I'd like to take Chan on face to face again, I'm gonna just grab it before it gets pulled away again and say yes. Provided Nic's seen the deadline
extension and is happy to bow out.

    Title ?

First off : Nicolas, it blows you can’t keep goin’ man, that was one MEAN entry. Seriously. No chance o'stayin' on board even with the extension ?

I'ld have to agree with varg here : the more pieces the better, so we should definitely fill the spot, but I reckon to respect the format of the contest someone from Nic's pool should be chosen (hopefully the runner up in votes if the info is available). That way the survival-of-the-fittest “match” system of separating all the participants into bouts of 5 is still viable. But, I've noticed Dirty C has accepted the open spot since I first read this thread at work earlier though, so what the hell really The judges would by far be the people best placed to make a call on this to begin with I say. Hell, they're the judges right ? My two cents at any rate.

And while I’m busy posting : mikedutton I really liked your first round piece, one of those that popped-out for me. The Charlie Brown motif on the kite was a nice extra-touch too that probably clinched it for me hehe Let's see what happens with this match 10 !
