    Ah Clochette, lovely stuff!!
That last one is awesome. I'm not sure, is he supossed to look floating? I mean, his foot doesn't seem to be on the groundplane.
And don't worry, you can never play too much Zelda.

DD : Let me call you DD! Thanks! Yes she was supposed to run, her feet is not all the ground yet... It doesn't work enough, thanks for pointing it. Haha Zelda is cool, there is enough opus to play a loooong time! ^^
    Bojee : Hey thank you!
    Hannes : Thanks babe!
HunterKiller : You're welcome! Thanks, no I never tried animation, it seems so difficult to me!
Bouroune : Hello froggy! Hehehe! Merci, tu as tout à fait raison! ^^ J'essaie j'essaie. Merci du commentaire!

I'm so happy! The CHOW 129 is about... Sherlock Holmes !!!! Yay ! I love the Arthur Conan Doyle books so far.

Decided to show him in the lazy period between 2 cases. "Holmes is known for his energetic approach to solving the cases which are presented before him by the many people, from many walks of life-from the lowest to the highest in the land, but when he is not involved in a case-he can become lethargic-and slip into the depression mentioned earlier."

Smoking opium, playing violin... stuff like this!
    C & C are welcome!

Aurélie, darling, did you just call me babe?

Ooooooh Sherlock Holmes! Great composition! And lighting! The focus isn't really on him though, maybe change that a bit? =_0

The Sherlock piece is looking good. I love seeing your reference and how you're using it. The lighting on this will be difficult to figure out... with the window and fire place right across from each other. Plus the smoke from the opium. Should be awesome to see the final for this. Love the lil' archer!

I love the little archer, looks like a cross between Mononoke and Minny the Minx, which in my book is a good combo.

The Holmes jobby looks great except for the positioning of the window, it cramps the room too much, making it appear long and thin. Also the focus appears to be his left (bow) hand which is a little odd.

    keep going.

That archer is sooo nice! I like the posing the balance of the character and the colors! When applying perspective, you should be a bit more carefl, though. Your lines often go out of focus not following the VPs closely enough. When in doubt, you can always make a 3D-setup!

Can't wait to see where you're going with your sherlock! Seems ike you are tackling several areas outside your comfort-zone with it!

I'm closely following your SB even if I'm not answering every post, sometimes the cuteness is so overhelming it leaves me speechless

    keep it up !

Hannes : Heheeh! Cute nickname don't you think? About Sherlock, yes the composition sucks! :/ I'm trying to improve it. Thank you!
Sketch : Yeah; I am a little frightened by those multiple lighting sources! :/ But challenge is everything! ^^ Let's do it! Maybe I'll put a flying dog in front of it if I can't make it as good as I want XD
Peter : Haha everyone is the babe of someone it seems xD Thanks! ^^
Young paddy1 : Thanks for the constructive crit! ^^
    Shalite : Thanks!
Faust : Hey! Cool you are back! Thanks, you're right, I have to work more pers. I'm reading a book about pers tricks, and make some training but aohw, it's maths !! Hihihi, I'll improve it! ^^
"Seems like you are tackling several areas outside your comfort-zone with it!" Yes, it's a bit freaking out!
m@ : Wah merci!
Merci!!
Bhanu : Humm ok ! xD Thank you!

So, before to continue the painting it-self I have to improve this composition, because it doesn't work...
I'm trying some different framing... I can't decide which one to adopt. HUmm I feel uncertain.

I'd say number 5 is the best choice here although I feel there's a lot of dead space above the character. Mabye put in an elephant or something.

    Thanks Faust!
An elephant you said huh? + a flying dog, that will be awesome!
So, you think that give up the first ground with the news paper and glass is better?
Maybe I could add Watson behind the smoke cloud...

Just saying that having too much stuff takes away from the character and if it's stuff that's defining the character I would at least put it somehere _near_ the character

Yes... But he is not at work. He is in his depression period here. So put his accessory close to him would be strange don't you think? Thanks for you help though! ^^

Edit : I am not sure about the composition yet, but tried to add Watson... Watson is a Holmes furniture! XD poor Watson.

Pffff I am desperate! I have to find a solution about it or I'll never be able to finish it in time ><"
