    major struggles

    I'm designing a label for a beer called GOG, forgot what kind of beer, but here is what i got so far, i don't do much illustration work, so i could use all and any tips, hints, suggestions.. PLEASE!!!!! he wanted a giant holding a staff and a mug of beer with antlers. plz help me guys. let me know of any problems and cant see.. just a sketch so far... thanks.

    Do you mean to be in the Critique Center with these? This seems like a lovely start to a sketchbook...
    It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

    These ARE good and they're great for sketchbook material. But while you have the general shapes of hands down, it looks like you skimp out of drawing em' in a lot of these and you don't put more detail down than a 'mitten' feel to them. I'd like to see more hands in general, even if it's just mittens.

    I love how you focus mainly on the main traits and the shadows and highlights. You don't get too cought up in details, and the lighting is really nice! My favourites are the first picture and the fifth picture.

    Try to work in more contrapposto that would help, his pose seems a little tense for a relaxed greeting.
    Try the pose your self in front of a mirror - you'll see what I mean.
