    Landscape first attempt

    Actually, It was just for fun, I had some free time, so I was thinking "hey, I never tryed to do a landscape" and so I did this. And it was with no reference, except the beckground on my cellphone.. lol which is really small

    It took me about 20 - 30 minutes. The thing that is lightning suposed to be something long lost in the mountain

    So, Here it is

    You have fallen into a common trap here of oversaturating the painting. If i had to put my finger on the single mistake that beginners make that ruins a painting it would be that they over saturate the painting. Knock it down a bit and see if it helps!

    Other than that, try playing with some texture, either by using some custom brushes or by painting much more loosely (which probably wouldnt harm anyway).
