    Terminator Make-up

Not posted in a while and for anyone who remembers I've not finished my stop motion demon yet either. Doh!

Moving house and computer games got in the way.

Anyway, thought I'd share some make-up I did for work.

The make-up was sculpted in clay over the life cast. The metal skull was to be made from fibre glass so this was sculpted seperately from the flesh section. A silicon mold was made of the sculpt.

The flesh part of the make-up was then sculpted in polymer clay over a fibre glass cast of the metal skull section.

A mold is then made of the flesh section. As this was to be cast in flexible silicon, a rigid mold of plaster was made.

Make-up powder was mixed with the silicon to create a realistic skin tone.

Once the two sections were cast, I tested the make-up to make sure it fit and iron out any potential problems. The third pic includes a photoshopped glowing eye.

Once I was happy with the look I added an LED to the metal skull to create the glowing eye effect.
