hey man how could i forget it
you asked where my motivation comes from. this question is easy to answer. it's bobby chiu's motivational stuff. really. listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJowNFmuul8
i listened to this like a thousand times. changed my life, definitely.
and keep those updates coming! i think it's admirable that you practice even the flu's almost killing you. can't wait to see what you're gonna do once you're fit again.

algenpfleger: Cool thanks, I'll take a look at this video.
So today i took a half day at work because i needed to get some things done there despite the fact that i feel like a walking zombie. Here are some mouths... I think i'm going backwards, these seem to be getting worse and worse. I guess though i kinda have to unlearn 22 years of stick figures and box people.
Here they are mouths.
We got some Mick Jagger or Steven Tyler Aerosmith lips going on down there somewhere viewer's choice.
There is also a dude with a small nose and huge Baron Von Underbite action.

RandAlThor: Thanks! Thats something i was actually trying to figure out.
l0stinth0ughts: hahaha thanks!
algenpfleger: Woah, I got around to listening to podcast today! Man! No wonder you're able to do what you do, he's really inspirational.
OK! So i managed to get in another page of drawing between restless sickness induced sleep. Below we have a buff dude's arm and leg and we got a mouth and an eye.

nice stuff here man. your face studies are coming along well. diggin your cartoons as well. i really like the kid that hates snow. well as far as crits go. i would suggest doing more anatomy studies. loomis or brigdman or life drawing classes are great for that. for your digis i'd suggest using a harder brush when painting so it doesn't get the blurry dull look you get from using soft brushes. keep it up.
To live is to create, to create is to live. Without art and music, I do not know how I would get by in my day to day life.

All kinds of Wrong
thesadpencil: Thanks! i've actually been trying to find better ways of doing the digital painting. I'm not liking photoshop too much i feel like the hard brushes are too hard and the soft ones are too soft and i can't find a reliable site that has decent brushes. I tried making my own but it was kinda lame. I made one that looks like crayons though that was kinda cool. I ended up using those for the lines in the snow kid thing.
OK! So i've been gone a while. I just quit my job so i had to wrap things up all while battling this sickness which doesn't seem to be going away. I've spent my free time hunting down a copy of any of the loomis books. Drawing the heads and hands is the only one i managed to find a hard copy of. I borrowed them and handed them off to a friend of mine who is going to make me a copy. So in the meantime i have these 2 things that are all kinds of wrong. I feel like the more i draw the worse i get. I really hope i stop being sick soon.
Anyways here is a f-ed up looking skull
And there is an f-ed up disproportionate old man with whack lips.
I think i'm going to just delete today's post later tonight hahah. This post is really embarrassing...

Back from an 8 month hiatus from drawing.
Here is something I did today starting at the beginning getting used to a wacom again and ending in the manual of a PC game from the mid-90's
Meet Robot: Scanners show no sammich. Where is my sammich?
This suit is much lighter now I can look for that sammich
Robot is suddenly a girl.
Legs are no longer 2x the length of the body
Mid 90's pc game manual that someone will buy and only play the first 30 mins of.

I tried to do some color work
Then I went back to drawing because it was too frightening.
