    Yep thanks for bumping this thread, great read. I'm working on my portfolio and website at the moment, and this made me more aware of the recieving side of things

    I'm always amazed to read how many people think they can get into the business on a cheap ticked or by acting weird. Can't imagine how tough a job it is to deal with these people.

    Candy? Begging on their knees? Wow sounds like 'Clash of Clans' on the global channel, everyone is begging to either join up and allowed to join up. How sad, so very sad. This was very informative, especially about sending a CD. I thought that most editors wanted this type of submission. I will stick to a hard copy instead for my future submissions.
