Realism with Colored Pencil - Tutorial

I was waiting for a painting to dry before I can work on it more so I decided to get out the colored pencils. I did this drawing of a rose. It was done on black paper with prismacolor colored pencils.

I took progress scans of this drawing and turned it into a step by step tutorial on my website. You can find the lesson at http://www.dueysdrawings.com/rose_drawing_tutorial.html Hope you like it.

Hmm.. loads a bit too slow for me, and then my browser gives up. Maybe I'm just trying to look at it at the wrong time (maybe it'll speed up later). But do you mind using the attachment option for the bigger version so I can see a closeup without the load? Looks pretty good from the small version.

Hello there golfiscool, very nice drawing!
I had a quick look at the tutorial and started to get interested in your artwork, so I poked around a little bit more and I have to say, I like your stuff. Keep up the good work :]

Wow! First time I've seen work with coloured pencils that was actually good! Most of what I see with coloured pencils isn't to nice.... But this is superb!
