Hi guys,
I've been trying out the new Photopaint X4 from Corel since it's out and just wanted to give you some feelings about it....

It is sort-of a mix between Photoshop and Painter...but not exactly the one everyone is dreaming about....but still very valuable...
All the must have image manipulation operations are there...they are confortable to use...
and the brush engine appeared quite good...
lots of options...reminds of painter...(in a good and bad way)
the cool thing is that you have this wet paint effect and good blenders that some of us miss in photoshop...
the UI is well customizable...
some clever details...like the way you can resize brushes holding SHIFT....

One more thing...on XP the program felt not snappy at all...giving a bad impression...but on Vista it's quite different....
The program feels very stable...we'll see with usage...

You may want to try it...and make you own opinion about it...
if you are looking for cheaper alternative to photoshop...
let me know what you think of it....
