You got some unique ideas going on. It has this dreamy mood that reminds me a bit of nivbed but it's definately different.

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...8&d=1239829926 - This one is really nice.

I like the way you did the metal texture on the guy in post#259, groovy pic on the whole btw. There's something however i have to get off my chest, which you may or may not have heard of earlier: colourwise, you've a tendency to stick to a red/cyan scheme, which is a good one bu itself, but i'm wondering if it wouldn't help to experiment more with colour and saturation. Maybe some enviro studies from photo ref? Maybe a good a idea for a challenge?

Man, you've been busy! All solid looking stuff if you ask me. Maybe clean up those lines a littlen, go into a little more detail, especially on the hands. It's gonna hurt later on if you let that slide, believe me. What's up with My Little Pony girl btw?

    really cool updates, Nettle!
I like where you were going with that new environment. the colors and shapes are pretty nice. somehow I think you lost a bit of sharpness and contrast in the second version.
Also I think the very dark corner on the left is dragging a bit too much attention without there being anything of interest to the picture really. anyway I think you should work some more on it. give it a rest for a few days and then get back to it
and that dolphin painting is great!! your colors are awesome on that one, actually saved it for inspiration.
    keep it up, dude!

Nice stuff. The standing male character pose could be better with hand position on the latest. Think of it as a silhouette first then make final.

Nice one. You really played the warm/cool thing to full effect, and even with the strong colours the pic doesn't feel oversaturated. You've broken a ceiling with this one, that's quite exciting. I am a little freaked out over the fact that she has no mouth though.

Hey thanks for checking out my SB
Great stuff here man--seems like you've been here quite a while---
I really liked the environment in post 280...sweet--- though it looked better in the post 275--- the additions are just not as finished as the background.
Really liked the tribal dude with his pet monster. And this final pic is my favourite-its really coming out well--- waiting for the finished version.

Looking at the first and last page there are three things I see that are really positive:

    1. You're drawings figures in perspective really well.
    2. When you go into color, you've gotten good a modelling figures convincingly.
    3. I really like the color palette you're using. It's full of good Karma and excitement.

At some point you should throw in some face studies, but mostly keep doing what you're doing, it's a treat!

TASmith: 1: i quess that posemaniac training has paid a little 2: thanks, i usually spend most of the time in rendering 3: huuh someone actually likes my colours! i was little worried my colour are too overexposed but i try to feel balance for that little by little
quackart: nice for you to visit

Well i have been working as a conceptartist in nitro games for a week and it is really hard but rewarding job, i haven't been painting too much in my free time so that has to change as mb workshop draws near----

Hunchback: I will try to keep on pushing, thanks

Challenge interactive poses, referenced from photos but many of the torsos-legs are invented (photograph didn't show all).
I was trying to capture flow of the interacting people, skeleton system and dynamics. Soon to make similar from imagination.

Neat-looking studies, the green BG's a good idea, ties 'em together as a series. Presentation like that can do a lot. That bug thing could use some more space IMO.
