    Watty Cullez

    I bought a W & N Cotsman watercolor set!

The first painting was done from life, the second is a study of a sargent watercolor.

  8. It's looking really good!
I like how you lead the eye with the light, and the warm colors on his face make it the focus of the piece.
    Great work!

Some recent stuff, just to prove I'm still alive. I finally got my new laptop so i should be updating ... frequently

First three are my usual chalk drawings for the Corcoran Museum of art.

The fourth is a study from the movie Chinatown.

The last one is a plein air study of Applebee's done in my new home, Alhambra, California.

    Thanks alot guys.

This is the Applebee's on main street, I painted it from Cha For Tea.
I'd definitely be down to meet you and your art club, not sure how much good a demo from me would do, but yeah I'm down for that too. feel free to email me or AIM me.

And now we have a fake book cover, now all we need is an author, a publisher and an audience?

    hey Samurai,

Thanks for the reply I've been doing these drawings for about 3 years at the Corcoran museum of art. I actually have some progress steps That I'll link a little later if you like.

In the meantime here are some studies for my next painting.
