It's looking really good!
I like how you lead the eye with the light, and the warm colors on his face make it the focus of the piece.

The last one is a plein air study of Applebee's done in my new home, Alhambra, California.

here is a piece I've been working up, still needs quite a bit of work, but i like where it's going.
crits welcome as always.
Wow great works man! Did you really move down here to Cali? is that the applebees on Main St next to the theatre? My college is in Alhambra, right down the street from there!! If your ever free i would love to talk to you about doing a demo for our art club on campus. Take care man. keep up the great work.
Thanks alot guys.
This is the Applebee's on main street, I painted it from Cha For Tea.
I'd definitely be down to meet you and your art club, not sure how much good a demo from me would do, but yeah I'm down for that too. feel free to email me or AIM me.
what to say else after seeing this sketchbook? there is something you can't do?
just amazing :o
And now we have a fake book cover, now all we need is an author, a publisher and an audience?
Thanks for the reply I've been doing these drawings for about 3 years at the Corcoran museum of art. I actually have some progress steps That I'll link a little later if you like.
In the meantime here are some studies for my next painting.
