Hey there been a while, I really like your updates, especially the finished result on #16. That's very good design and looks very pro, nice job on that piece.

The T-shirt design is just too damn cool. For some of your figure paintings, the colors you used for the skin tones seem a little flat/monotone - perhaps use a great range of colors to bring out the lustre?

    Thanks Lyno, Farsh and N1va.

Here is an attempt at flames, I know it still needs work but I figured I'd post what I've done so far (about 73 minutes).

Now that's what I'd call a fastball!! i looks pretty decent to me (but most of the time the only flames i do are highly stylized) if your worried about it find some refreces they'll help a lot

    Thanks guys,

This is a quick concept I did of my "Art Crusades" character. I've got a great deal more work to put into him, but this is at least the direction I want to go.

O_O ... you know if I had seen these pics before i challenged you... no seriously these are killer! my fav has to be the angel one that's your avatar. very impressive... I also love the inking on the goblin. Although i think his sword arm's wrist is a little small (maybe because the rest of it's in shadow?) anyways great update.

Wow, I love your Crusade pieces, very 'storytelling' and emotive.
As for this one, I think you've really got the understanding of the lightsources and how the lights work. Nice 1st and 2nd lightsource.

    Keep going

Hey, great stuff you got here! I love the intensity between the two mech-angels you posted on March 4th.
The painting you're using as your avatar is also great, although the colouring of the arm looks a bit vague. I think it could use a bit more contrast and some bloodstains Or another kind of texture.

Your last picture is probably my favorite - but is it done yet? I know it's probably supposed to be a night painting, but I think you ought to add just a bit more light to both girls, to make the viewer focus more on them. As it is now they almost disappear in darkness. I dig the foreground girls' expression and features!

This is a good one: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s...ngelicsset.jpg

The variations on l the legless phantoms are cool. Maybe work more on some of them? Get rid of the blur and make it more clean. Anyway, nice SB keep posting mate!

Thanks everyone. I've been way busy with freelance projects for a local print shop and a baby on the way. Fun art stuff has been kicked to the side for a while, but I'll be posting new stuff again, soon.

Hopefully, you'll like that stuff a little more,

Sheeet. b/w from post #48 is kickass. Realistic good face.

Umm.. a suggestion then! Something I need to work on a lot myself:
Facial expressions! Lots of fun if you can handle expressionss.. For storytelling.

    Keep it up m8.

I made it back! It only took me 5 years, lol. I kind of dropped out of artwork for a minute.
I decided to come back with a continuation of my Battle character from here, turned into a comic. I'm working on it little by little and not as much as I'd like. Since I sold my Cintiq I haven't colored much of anything, since I'm scared I'll destroy what I have done so far.

    Concept for Medusa

    Concept for Prometheus

    Concept for Hermes

    And some Pony art, lol.
