The Infinite Struggle of Evading Suckage
I finally gathered up enough guts to post up a sketchbook here. XD The art is so awesome (and intimidating) here and I hope I can improve with everyones help. Right now I'm 15 now so I have lots of time to improve, please don't hold out on me. X)
You know the drill, recent stuff on last page

14 years old? Wow, I wish I had your skills at that age
I really dig your speed paintings, especially the forest, very nice colours and values. Mmm, not much else to say, everything's looking pretty good. The depth in that last painting of the cityscape could use some definition though, try using some darker values for the foreground.
Keep it up, I'm looking forward to seeing more

Hardedge- Thanks mate, but I'm not that great now... :] Thanks for the advice, I really need to work on those values.
Rockhart- Thanks for the comment. :] I'll be posting more people for sure.
heh, my scanner appears to hate me, so I just got it to scan one page for me today. XD I wanted to scan more. :/ Meh, so today I've submited a face I colored in with markers, two oekakis, and a page from my sketchbook (many of the people were drawn from refs. Except the completely naked girl). I haven't anything new but after my schoolwork and tests are finished up for this week, I'll have a week off from school next week. X) I'll get lots done on that week.

Great start, it looks like you've got a basic grasp of anatomy here. Very impressive, there are a lot of really quite good younger artists on this board. I'm glad to see that you're one of them.
From here I'd like to see a few hand, foot, and nose studies, I think it could really help you tighten up some of these pictures and improve your over-all composition.
I think the problem with pen&ink is that there is no Ctrl+z command.
writers and artists have a lot in common -- we both draw from life, we both paint pictures, and we'll both spend to many sleepless nights on our work.

Gunther409- Thanks. Most of those drawings of girls were reffed though, except for the completely naked girl. heh, I've a long way to go. I'll definitely work on those hands/feet/noses and more.
My scanner appears to only be able to do one scan per day. XD Maybe I should scan the stuff on a lower dpi..?
Still submitting older stuff. A digital painting of some character in my head, and a page from my sketchbook. Lot's of reffed images there.

I haven't updated for a long time because I just got through Midterms week. This week is regents week, but I don't take any right now so I'm free to do as much drawing as I want this week. No school at all. X)
Attached are 2 older pages I scanned from my sketchbook. I need to start some studies and finish some art commitments...
I winder why there are only links showing up in the attachments..?
