    Cyanids dump :]

    Hi there,

Started a new sketchbook here. New year, good intentions.
Here's some older work and some recent work.

(admin as you might have noticed there's a similar thread with no content, due to a bug/crash of the forum you can remove that one)

Nice blend of graphic style art and realism. I love the way you use custom brushes in that batman pic. That last one has a great composition, is that from ref?

    Lets see some more stuff.

Nice work! Good painting technique. I think your anatomy and proportion are lagging behind a little bit (or maybe your painting is sprinting ahead?) -- more study on the basics would do you good. But you're very good already -- I'm looking forward to seeing what else you put up here. Keep it up!

thanks funfetus. you are absolutely right, and I know that I should focus more on anatomy.

Wow! This is a very nice sketchbook. I have some comments on particular ones:

The first one of the woman b/w: I like your use of grayscale, and the figure's expression is clear and wonderful. But her arm seems too short and is awkward. Also the body becomes too out of proportion in the torso and legs (her legs also are too short, maybe would look better going off the page). The same for the man with the red flag, his right arm is too short.

The two nudes are great, but the second her hips are much too small to be on those of a real human. The shoulders, rib cage, and breasts look nice, but remember the elbow is at the waist (try to examine your arm straight and see the elbow)

Your painting and sense of color/lighting techniques are very wonderful!! But try to do more practise on anatomy first A problem I see on many of these works is the eyes look unnatural. In the b/w of a man, his right eye is way out of proportion; also in the one of the man above the moustache-man with cowboy hat. Remember: the space between your two eyes is the exact size of one eye (like you could fit one eye in the space of your two eyes)

    Keep up the good work
