    Even more WATTS work... This time its mine (LOTS 'O' PIX)

    these are the latest pix of my life drawing at Watts. they are mixed figure and portrait studies. all were done in around 2 hours and are unfinished. this is my summer 03 work and i am planning to post some of my older pix later.

    good stuff. Something that I noticed looking at your drawings is that when Erik, Ron, or Jeff work on our stuff they put in either straights or curves that we don't. I can see that especially in your portraits. I think that we as students tend to either work in straights or curves, and they (the teachers) use both to enhance the drawings. Does that make sense? Your stuff looks good though, keep posting. I tend to do the exact same thing, and usually I draw way too dark, but you got a great start to your drawings, nice loose light strokes that can be built up. Good job again.

    my pictures definately show Rons touch... each time he helps me out i learn something new. Erik's stylization can be seen in the previous semesters work on the woman with her short hair pulled back.

    Here is my newest portrait at watts. All of it is my drawing but the bad ass finishing touches (half tones and a some extra tonal control) belong to fredflickstone.
