I really dig your breadth of work! That church piece you posted early on in the thread is really killer!

The last posts you did were very cool. Wing-face covers.. really nice idea.

    Kudos!

Thanks for the comments. I honestly can't take credit for the facial wing covers, that's how the creature is described in Revelations 4.

a little development.. Have much farther to go on this design... Also hoping to implement some new ideas and techniques. Should be fun!

mmmk, nothing groundbreaking.. quick creature and nature sketches. Used a 9B, goes on like butter.. though I did some quickie value tweaks in PS when I scanned them in. I didn't want to forget the layering of the scene, as I plan to come back to paint some of these.. possibly.. Will be in the park again to do more sketches.

also some of the sketches leading up to the Servant Angel painting.. .. really rough.. was aiming for different dynamic poses before diving into the wonderful world of color.

I enjoy the usage of colours in your work.
    Splendid, and inspirational

thanks I would like to go back and sharpen up that blue guy .. but we'll see. I try to look to the next piece and not behind.. but sometimes I think it'd be wise to take previous works to a farther level of finish.

here's a fun one i did for commission. The border was by another artist, so I blacked it out. A bit busy now with contracts, but I will show a bit more when I am done.

    Aight, here's a WIP on a commission for RealmOfEmpires.com:
    Eric Elwell's sketchbook

    get'n there.

Some coffee shop sketches, a larger version of that bull with the border removed, and a fishy moused up in mspaint (seems to be a way to relax my brain).

    thanks for the comments!

Lately, for sketching I have just been learning and practices perspective and facial anatomy.. Nothing scan-worthy... so I leave you with an already outdated version of RoE village, some DEEP, and Zombie Possum (and friends).

Yay for updates! MAKE THEM MORE FREQUENT!

April 9th and June 12th were both epic additions to your sketchbook. Excellent pieces.
