Hey thanks MM&M!
Heres the latest Cow: Nectar Spender
Concept: The Green Back Hornet
The Green Back Hornet, the largest hornet species, excretes a cloud of nectar to suffocate and immobilize its enemies and/or prey. Once engulfed in the nectar cloud, the nectar then sticks to the prey making it harder to move while also filling the lungs. Its main diet consists of the long haired beetles and most other insects of similar sizes that travel along the jungles in South Africa.

A few things have happened since I've last posted... Mainly, I got a new job! I'm now working for Sony on the environments of God of war 3. Don't know if I ever did mention that I'm a 3D environtment artist. I was working at Paradigm in Dallas, so i had to pack up and mosey on out to LA. So i guess 3D is my profession and 2d is just a hobby... Got lots of sketchbooks stuff to post once i find a working scanning/or mine gets out of storage.

Keep it up!
Thanks Thepico!!! Happy you like the pokemon pic. It was fun to do.
So for Christmas, I painted a picture slightly edited from Reference for my sister of venice. The actually print of it was 3' x 2'. Its been the first picture i printed off and I actually really like the way i came out. I tried to take my own style to it and what not to make sure it would hold up at such a large size.
Took some photos that my mother and uncle took and just played around with them. Compiled the foreground, midground, and backgrounds... they took about 30 mins to an hour each. They were fun to do, but i see alot of mistakes in each one. Definately know what i would do differently if i were actually going to take the time to properly do a matte painting like that.
Just stumbled here because of your current cow...that spider-thingy at the upper part of this page is really, really awesome...blew my socks away...makes me wish to try out some zbrush (altough it would probably turn out a complete fail...)... Great design, beautiful concepts!!
Always looking for other artists in Switzerland for collabs and exchange... Everybody welcomed!
Woaaooh! Mad stuff, dewd! Your creature concepts kick major ass, especially in #67. The painting of Venice makes me jealous. Really nice work, even though you used ref - still takes a shitload of skill and talent to get it right. Kudos! Will sneak around here more often.
hey hey! ^^ i love the fantasie animals *__* they look like game monsters from silent hill *tehe* thats pretty cool!
