    Online art schools?

So, I took high school online and it was the best thing that's happened to my education thus far. I was wondering, does anyone have suggestions for online art schools? I had a nice chat with Ai Online but then just about died when I saw the obscene tuition price, so try to keep suggestions reasonable.

If you're into animation, check out animationmentor.com.

If you're going for concept art, Bobby Chiu has an excellent online digital painting course. Here's the blog of his studio. Check out the "schoolism" link to the side.

Neither of these is a degree granting program, but I still think they're worth checking out. They could always be used as a supplement to another program.

I'd totally suggest Animation Mentor if you are into animation. But like Sinfulsaint said, they don't give a degree. Just a certificate. But with animation, the reel can stand on its own without a degree.

I think Academy of Art Univ. has online courses. Not sure of what tho.

Someone reccomended "Schoolism" which is pretty good. These are mostly online courses, depending on what you want, but some good artists from Conceptart teach there. Does anyone have any good recommendations for online painting courses? I want some good reputable sites.
