Mind me drawing?
So here I go, as lots of people before me I'm creating this thread to give you a gimpse at what to find in my sketchbook (or whatever sort of paper I had ready to draw at). I always seem to draw random stuff with a biro (pen) at the edges of a sheet of paper, but that's hardly worth showing.
But last semester there where 6 weekends on which we had lectures on filming and cutting techniques. That often meant sitting about 5 hours sitting in a room without a desk (or energy for the notebook) and that's when I finally started to make use of my sketchbook more frequently. Some friends even joked that it didn't matter what lectures we'll have later, I'll draw anyway...
Well, they were right to some degree, but this semester the lectures are quite interesting and sometimes demanding, so I didn't draw too much lately. But I hope I can change that again and maybe this thread is helping me to keep it up. Who knows.
Guess that's far enough text for a sketchbook. o.O
Some old stuff:

You can see other pics at my homepage. But I'm afraid the english Part is under construction and needs updating. But I think the navigation is not all too difficult.

Well, I'll scan some newer pics now...
Edit: Realised I forgot to attach at least one pic. So I made a little change.
Note for attached pic: Yes, during summer I like to take my shoes off and carry my shoes from room to room...

I bought my recent sketchbook at the 31st December 2007 - so you'll see every single page of it here.
Eventhou I'm not too satisfied with some stuff... Anyway.
Here're the announced scans:

Looks like you've been busy drawing everything around you, thats good!
I like the cat drawings.
keep up!

Very cool! I love the fact you're fearless, sketching all around you - wish I was the same. The cat sketches are great, love the way you've captured the state of sleep and the fluffiness of the fur! If you keep sketching everything around you like this, you'll just get better and better - keep an eye on the proportions too and they'll get tighter and tighter as you progress too. Keep going

Thanks a lot for commenting you two! I appreciate it.
@IamPeter - It is always some sort of challenge to draw the cat. Even when she's sleeping (or at least pretending to sleep) she won't stay in one position for long and for now it still takes me some time to capture the fur and her "facial expression". (My dad said it looks way too human in the centered drawing...)
@thek: I didn't carry my sketchbook around me when I was at school, eventhou everybody new I liked drawing alot. It sort of just happened when I started to go to uni and now that people around me got quite used to it, I don't have a problem to start whenever I feel like it. Maybe you should just give it a try. =)

Time for a little update on this scetchbook. Didn't manage to draw as much as I wanted... Anway. Here are some drawings of my left hand (+ a start of sketching a head). Did the last one during the English lesson and didn't have my scetchbook ready...

-
For this pic I made use of my scetches as the base. Well, I just put the cat into it, for it was more about the hands then what could be on the paper itself. ^^'
Time: 2 to 3 hours
Programm: Photoshop

Hey cool idea. I think you can make the shadows on the paper from the left hand a bit darker, the hand seems to be floating above the paper now instead of holding it.
-
-
I guess you're right and others told me the shadows didn't look realistic, too. So I tried to change it a bit, but I'm not sure if it got any better...

The lecture sketches from the first post are great! The last one is cool too, but the colour of the hands seems washed out and a little 'ghostly' (to me anyhow). The fingernails don't seem to have been paid much attention yet, but it could be unfinished so feel free to ignore me on that note, haha.
You've got a great start to a sketchbook though; hope to see more soon!

Didn't post for quite some time and unfortunately I didn't draw as much as I would have liked to...
Sketches I made during my grandma's birthday party in Febuary.

Very fast sketches. People only stayed for a short time at the same place, so there are hardly any details...

Here we've been to a museum and I when my camera ran out of energy I started sketching what I saw... There are some notes in it, too - sry for that.

So, finally something of better quality.
This semester I have a course in drawing. This are some of the (better) drawings I made on A4. I also have some on A3, but didn't have time to scan them yet.

It's great that you're drawing from life so much. Anatomy studies would help as well. I can see improvement in your update, but there are still a few proportion issues and problems in the structure of your figures.
Have fun and keep sketching.

Hey again. These new life sketches look fantastic(!), though, as mentioned above, there are some proportion issues evident. Have you checked out posemaniacs thirty second feature? I haven't actually used it in a while but now there's even a full-screen feature, hmm...Anyhow, I think it's a pretty beneficial practice if you want to try.
Great work, really; I love the lying-down figures (the third from last girl stands out as an example) especially.

First of all: I didn't manage to thank you so far, nolarc and Ex Nihilo for commenting. Would love to have more time for practicing, but studies seem to eat up more and more of my precious time. >.<
Todays lectures were a bit boring so I took an older photo of the youngest doughter of my cousin and started painting with Corel's Painter... The motive is nothing special, but I like it.

Wanna go with you - Drawing of my cat
Long time no see. I did a few scribbles and drawings in the past months. My bachelor thesis plus fulltime job eat up almost all my time, so it's hard to find enough time to do something "bigger".
Attached to this comment you'll find a picture showing my cat "Gismo" playing with my bag again.

Scribbles drawn in the subway train
In summer I did more sketching again. Most of these drawings where drawn at the subway train, some at a lake.
