Wow, these are beautiful. You're lucky to be able to work with your dad.

    Do you work from reference?

    fuck man.....awesome paintingssssss.....
I know someone who loves horses and would go crazy looking at them....great craftmanship, great feeling, expression....
    5 stars.

And workign with your dad,,,,now thats golden.

Just one crit..the way those clouds are treated..its pushing them in the front instead of putting them at the horizon.

beautiful! the colors are unbelievable... wow

last 3 are my favorite, seem to be quite a bit more detail and focus on the horses.

    more paints

Burl: Hi thanks, yes we work from references that take our self, and many parts of the paintings are from imagination, is interpretation work, not photographic copy, some kind of impresionism.
Lelle: I glad you like it, the sizes are many, the first painting is 30x40 cm, and the last 90x130 cm i think, don`t remember the exact size but you get the idea
bhanu:haha thanks man, about the clouds, yeah maybe is the effect of the impasto, but my father like to put a lot of paint, and don`t like low color values, so everything in the picture is shinning and colorfull, you get use to it
    Rod28Pereira: thanks
mbetteker:thanks, the las 3 are newer and bigger; but the detail in the horses sometimes depends of the reference we have, and because we don`t seek the hyperrealism , we seek the effect of color and light.

    now more paintings

Wow, thats some cool stuff you got there, i really like the fact that everything is so bride and sunny.

But just one little thing, in the verry first painting u posted i think the right horse is a bit awkward, the anatomy of the horse just dont feel right. But further nothing but respect for your work man.

fullmetaljacket: thanks man, yes the anatomy of the horse are not always perfect, because sometimes i don`t use references, and is difficult to remember the muscles of the horse in diferents light and color situations, that painting for example i paint when i was on a trip to the coast and find a nice woods so we take out the oils sit down and paint from natural, the horses was added as a test to see how they may fit in the woods, sorry for my english i hope you understand me

Hi, Santiago. It's good to see some art from this side of the world. Supongo que sabes español, ¿No es así? Jajajaja. Well, on the subject, I'm very impressed with these paintings. I like the detail of the tree in #7, seems different from the other ones you and your old man did. Los floreros también son bastante buenos, I guess my mom would like to have one of those in our living room ;P. Keep up the good work.
