oh here is a a quite fresh and possible sequence from the screenplay

seeing things from a different light?

he quite finally got loose and hits the ground with a splash

    returns to the beach

but the other earlier known as apathetic folks turns hysterical and wants to eat him. They almost got him but keep chasing him!

    disappeared?

haha no he didn't, but look at them now!

    - due to requests I've had from here earlier:

In case you are interested in buying prints of the Meta Monks-series from either DeviantPrints or TheUntappedSource, now is your chance to get them trough the online (cheap) system.

In a couple of weeks I will be introducing the series in a more exclusive limited edition counting only 99 each! These prints will be signed, numbered and of course in a much higher quality. I spent about 12 hours together with an expert in the field fine tuning, testing and printing the first batch!

Prices and more details will be announced in time along with my upcoming exhibition which will be held by the By:Larm 2009 festival in Oslo, Norway 19-21 february.

    oh look, twins!

had a day in studio today. we did some makeup tests + a special effect experiment. A couple of problems which I am glad we sorted out at this stage and not later.. Crew was awesome, shots got really nice and I look forward to see how they turn out in BM-style

a couple of photos taken by me + framegrab mockups:

I don't know what's going on but the stroyboard above looks great, and although this guy looks a bit like an albino with a treacle based eating disorder, it does have a pretty damn good disturbing feel to it.

    loving the new scenes.
still has this weired nightmarish dream appeal. cant put my finger on it but i think thats the creepy thing about it.
love the scenes of the guy running into the sea with the masses trying to pull at him. and then the underwatre scene.
really nice. has the real appeal of the stuff washing off.

Just love the new Black Milk-scenes. So awesome. I just adore that concept so much!

And the shots were cool, it's so exciting watching your drawings "come to life" like that!

yeah, the green screen pics looks incredible. youve got a good special-makeup creator... and a nice eye for atmospheres.

is "black milk" a film without dialogues? the probably hardest thing in my project was the dialogues, and i hope nobody recognize

when we see the first moving pictures of this work?

if i can see this right; youre shooting with a RED??!
my director of photography was dreaming about this technical masterpiece.
do you edit/cut the movie? youve got a computer to cut the 4k-stuff?

remember_orwell: thanks a lot yep, no dialogues. For this film there is no dialogue needed, which also makes this more internationally accessible. Currently there are only a couple of test shots for own use. I bet there will be a teaser in spring Yes, we are shooting on RED which is a challenge, but also a huge advantage for the picture.

TomSpencer, Guan, tour de poop: thank you

Jofx: einar granum treffes vi ikke der snart?

jedininjaman: I can't really tell. Now there are just a couple of test shots for makeup and green screens and not much to carry the film

During the By:Larm festival in Oslo last weekend I was exhibiting my Meta Monks-series. I had all six paintings printed out in 1,5 meter canvas prints and hanged in Oslo Congress Center, Youngstorget 18-22 February.

    • a skull design for the film I am working on. Supposed to belong to a dehydrated corpse found along an endless rock wall in a white desert. As it is lifted up, fine white sand pours out of it's empty eye holes.

I made it in layers to explain the skulls structure and suggest how it is built anatomically to the sfx- and makeup team.
    • adding a collection of my latest croquis

argghh your so talented. That skull is beautiful. Your figures are so good. All I have ever really wanted to do was be able to draw a good figure. I need to practice more. All your works are amazing.

TomSpencer: Thank you. Just do lots of croquis and anatomy studies. The more live model studies the better - as most people say

    donalfall: Thanks for dropping by

So here we go; my weekly 1-5 min croquis. Actually I would love to get some feedback on my figures because I am still pretty new to these studies. I don't really have a particular approach yet so I go quite random. Any tips?

A skull study which muscles are about to fall off. Muscles are from memory. Just wanted to experiment with some stylized reality

på croquis greia tror jeg du har tegnet en i klassen min om han er ganske høy og har rødt hår?
vi hadde noen øvelser der vi tegnet konturen til slutt, det var ganske gøy

    More Black Milk. Fantastic work.

The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.
