I think you had it right on print #3, just finish out the eyes a bit more and it would look heinously wicked. As for the painting on the bottom of page 1, push the reds more, as well as the dark and the brights. It looks flat cus it's a lot of muted colour so it's coming across as very quiet.

    Good work here!

    Hey man
wooooo your pencil rendering is class
you have strong anatomy too and your shapes and overall is just great!
Btw how old are you? because your a teen right awesome sketchbook so far
The only thing i would crits is you should watch out for your proportion i know i know shading and rendering is just soo fun but just start out by getting all the line work right, i know you already know this but meh and then just go over it.
Other than that awesome and your tc looks very good cant wait to see more from you

I feel. How old are you? Your work is on Teen Challenge, so I assume you're below 20.

For your latest piece, what do you think about adding some diagonal shapes and balancing colours, left and right?

Here's a quick re-up thing I made, I hope you don't take this as a "This is what I would do" sort of thing, it's just something to consider. Otherwise, I really like your drawing style, very loose and master-ly... in terms of personal preference (i.e. opinion) I like the vibrant shadow colours of the mountain ridge over the dark shadow on God's face, because unsaturated shadows tend to look more pastel-ish.

I might work on a piece of my own for the teen challenge, but I'm also kind of busy with my own stuff... Good luck!

    Yungkee

EDIT: I'd like to add, that I really like your idea and sense of imagination, and that his pants are beautifully rendered!

i like your concepts and style with those freakish looking heads that you do. rendering is really good, and i'm glad to see your spending more time on the hands. only criticism would be, that you seem to have the "floating" figure thing going on sometimes. this can usually be solved by completing the feet or weight bearing features of the form. other than that i'm digging the style, keep it up.

    This new stuff is ace!
It's funny, I was just looking at your sketchbook yesterday, wishing you'd update soon.
The cyborg/robot thing with the sword, (which I'm guessing is a pen sketch?), and the cowboy are awesome.

For the one you wanted to finish later, you might want to bring up the contrast a bit, overall it's sort of gray.

Btw, could you take a look in my sketchbook?

The drawings are looking good, man!
That last piece is a bit flat. And the edges could be a bit more defined. But both of these statements apply even more to myself, haha.

    Have fun in college!

I think you're overdoing the saturation on a few of these pieces, like the bridge with the red water. It seems to make them flat. Possibly try to use the super-saturated colours a bit less, like in the last one. (Not saying you can't have saturated colours, but maybe less on certain peices?)

But damn, your pencil sketches are awesome. And the experimental traditional stuff is great too.
The problem with few comments might be the fact you aren't commenting too much in other peoples' sketchbooks, and that you don't have stars? I don't know, I think your stuff is great nonetheless.

Nice environments. Do you work from reference, or do you just work it up from scratch?
