    Latest works

Heya all, and happy new year!!

Here are my latest 2007 works:
Still mixing 3D and 2D technics,
Still looking for my own style, and having fun

I know i must be one of the only around to use 3D packages to create illustrations, and i must be the one and only to think that this medium has lots of potential as a tool for creativity, anyway... comments are more than welcomed

Hey Pascal! your pictures don't show too bad because I love your stuff.
And no you're not the only one who uses 3d here... quite a few people here use some 3d in their process, but in different degrees.

that makes your work much more personal and "unique"..and therefore interesting, especially since you use these toos in such a good way.Very nice stuff

Wow these are great. Love the idea/imagination behind it. What did you use to make the figures? Digital or Traditional?

@rawr: hey thanks! hard to find your path if you know what i mean... its been a while that im trying to find a way to achieve the powerfull picts i have in mind
@Darkcult: thanks! i mainly use 3dsmax for modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering (vray) and i add details with zbrush and mudbox. then i touch up my picts with photoshop.
@rummity, thx! these are full digital sculpts.
M@: thanks i really try to push my palettes this days, evoluting feels good
@kollatt: Loic is a friend of mine, and yes he is one of the few to mix 2D and 3D

Hey pascal nice to see you post some stuff over here at a CA. I am still a fan of your 3d renderings. You seem to get alot of flak with the direction you are going with your renderings. I encourage exploration, truly inspirational images. I hope to see some more images from you.

the only detraction i see from this medium is the "plastic" appearance of the models, it seems to fit with the first, fifth, and sixth images as the texture seems appropriate to the character, but in the others it makes them appear to be action figures or some such, this has always been my primary dislike of CG... ...but in general, they're beautiful, who'd have thought i could fall in love with a candy cane demon from the future?

I so dig your palette Pascal. The third one reminds me of Druillet, I'm sure it's not a coïncidence.

DANG! These are freaking sweet, very inspirational. It makes me want to increase my 3d skills again as I thought they wouldn't help my 2d .

    Keep it up

Very nice work. I think you have succeeded in getting your own style. I recognize a Pascal piece on site.
