The style of your environments are pretty amazing, a very cool approach.
Thx Christoffer! I'm using Sparth's custom shape method as a base. Made a bunch of random and not so random vector shapes which I stretch and flip and whatever to get a basic composition and then I paint on top of them. I also use layers of those shapes in various blend modes to get the textury feel.
Here's more of that derp.
fuuuuuuuuuck dude, i know its been a while since i last stopped by i can't help but notice how much your work has exploded recently. Really beautiful environments and characters (especially the latest chows 0_0) and the use of lots of textures from brushes is really giving your work great energy and style.
If a shit ton of work hasnt landed your way soon i'm guessin it will do prity soon if you keep going like this.
Now, enough ass patting, post more stuff, i'm hungry!
Warburton: First of all, thank you . I actually landed a big freelance thing last week which is NDA work. So I'll try to squeeze my own work in when possible
Those last enviros are really amazing. Also, your Chow's are on spot as usual. Lots of improvement all around.
Nothing but compliments from me.
A creative artist works on his next composition because he is not satisfied with his previous one. When he loses a critical attitude toward his own work, he ceases to be an artist. - Dmitri Shostakovich

thank you!! It's all vector shapes for the textures. Layer them enough and they'll look like phototextures eventually
Oh wow! These environments lately are amazing. They look pretty damn pro.
Keep going with these. Try using a bolder color somewhere in them as that might make for a better focal point. Like if you used a bright 'light source' type light on the one above. Perhaps an orange lantern looking light. It would really push the color and make for extreme contrast.
Keep up the goodies PT
Hey awesome environments here. Most of the works I've seen from you before are charas so it's so to see you're kicking ass in enviros too.
#581's really awesome, great sense of scale through composition. Those thumbs really helped aye?
thx guys! I'm on a bit of a backburner atm with some nda client work, but I'll try to do some personal stuff in between to keep this going
