hey peeps, a couple of EOW people wanted a little explanation on my thumbnail process so I made a little video out of it. It's around 23 minutes in 2 parts.
It's my first video ever, so be gentle

If you like it, by all means share and spread the word.

Again: very good work flow. Nice Vehicles and I really enjoyed the second bike. It`s like a cross between the bike kaneda from akira rides and the recent bike designtrend.

P.S. my fault - I stopped on page 11 oO It`s really hard to keep track with your creativity.

The youtube-links aren`t working...please, please fix that ok?!

That robot in #516 kicks ass and I love the close up on #517 and how you sort of block in those colors on her face. It's a shame so much detail is lost when you resize you paintings.

    Hey Pixel,
You have a very remarkable style and the way you go about all of your art is very interesting. Sorry its taken me so long to comment in your sketchbook, (we had a conversation in Dans Livestream a month or so ago, dont know if you remember lol)
I also wanted to have a chance to thank you for that tutorial you did, its actually helped a lot with my brain storming approach and the way I work out some compositions, especially enviros.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you, sorry I couldnt give any advice, you are wayyyy outta my league for that, just lending my support

Thx guys And Jaik, anyone can give me advice. When something's wrong it's wrong and you don't need to be a pro to see that :p

    Hey pixeltuner.
I decided to look over your sketchbook today, and I'm glad to see that you have loosened up. I feel like your strokes are more expressive than they used to be, and though they may be more minimal than in your previous works- you make every line/shade count!
-Very inspiring and thanks for sharing with us.

    Thx snippet

It's a byproduct of me having a short attentionspan and being lazy in a way as well. I'd made it a mission to say as much as possible with the least amount of work

The Bloodsports is coming along nicely, I am looking forward to seeing it develop, keep an eye on how you have her handling her weight though. Also, a quick heads up - all of the girls on this page have the same chin. It's important not to get so methodic, try to mix it up and push that comfort zone more.

I just need to study more and different faces And that weight thing for the Bloodsports is indeed an issue. I've got perspective-lines over the piece as it is but she needs to be grounded better and I'm not sure if the railing as it is the best solution

EDIT: btw, it's not a comfort-zone, it's lack of knowledge

Really dig your impressionistic style. Don`t wanna sound rude but I think you need more practice on faces.

I think something that might benefit you a bunch is to step away from the stylistic approach that you have been using for a bit, and go back to just a basic round brush and try to do some basic anatomy studies and stuff for a bit.

And then come back into the stylistic after you've done that for a bit.

It kind of seems like you're at a standstill lately in terms of technical skill. I think it would benefit you to go back to the basics for a little bit.

Either way, your still pushing that style stuff to the extreme. It's just that your anatomy seems to jump around quite a bit.

    Keep up the good work!

Yes yes! These newest ones are sooo much more dynamic and believable than you were doing for a little bit. The color are the most interesting parts.

Your style is showing with your amount of realism. These are looking so cool. Keep it up PT, and you'll have something ridiculous soon!
