Hi there, stumbled across this forum for some unknown reason and thought I'd sign up and get some critique. Just a little back story; been drawing since I was young, never been one for drawing every single day. Though of late I've been drawing a lot more, due to the line of work I'm intending to go into. Currently just started studying a BA Hons Degree in 3Dimensional Design.
Like many I assume, I suffer with difficulties in pulling images from my head. Most of my work is drawn from reference in some shape or form, not to say there's anything wrong with that of course. I also find I draw in a strange manner, I don't tend to block out my images first - Instead I go for the draw down the page details an' all approach. I anger myself with this, unfortunately it's become a habit that appears to be a hard one to break. Trying to teach myself from scratch how to draw in what I'd like to think is "the proper" way. I 'm just finding it very hard to get my head around at the moment. (And advise or good tutorials on this would be lovely.)
Really just looking for thoughts and opinions on my work, and what I could do to improve on it really.
Recently found that I get very stressed out whilst drawing. I believe it's a mixture of trying to learn to draw a new way and of drawing for the wrong reasons completely. Would love to be a good concept artist some day.
But any way, I'm sure you don't want to hear my rambling.
Here's some of my work, sketches and digital.

Not sure if Digital Art is covered on this website, if not then my apologies
After browsing this Forum for a good hour I fancied doing some sketches, here's what I have to show from it.
