    Chris, thank you!

Denoir, thanks what exactly is "Kernschatten", do you mean the reflected light inside shadow shapes? I'm maybe familiar with the idea behind it, but haven't heard the word before.

    Ostroponis, thank you

    Kambei, thanks

    oren, thank you! much appreciated

Finally got a decent image of the 2nd cast painting. (I'm too lazy to take photos, haha XD)

edit: extra photos. Would've taken more photos but the exhibition space was more crowded than a can of sardines D:

Thanks so much, guys and girls

    Caro/Cyprinus, I didn't know you're here too! Awesomeness!
    Gotta check out your sketchbook

Here's some new sketchbook pages (copies after old master drawings - I'm using "Anatomy Lessons from the Great Masters" by Robert Hale, awesome book!)
And a copy after a drawing by Mario Fortuny, a project from Angel Academy. It's not officially finished, but after so many weeks working on it, I can't stand to look at this damn thing anymore and declared it done. Whatever the teacher says, I won't continue with this.
(medium: charcoal on Umbria paper, roughly A3 size)

Soon there will be a historic soccer match (calcio storico) in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, and I'm looking forward to it. Usually I'm not a sports fan but I've never seen anything like this before so I really want to attend! Basically it's a bunch of guys kicking around a ball and beating up each other in renaissance costumes. XD Will try to take photos!

    edit: WTF imageshack...

yes, I meant the darkest range in the shadow area in relation to the parts of the shadows with reflected light. one can see it eighter way
