Very Funny piece, my only problem is that with any concept illustration, either realistic or cartoony, you need to think of the focal point. I know this is just a sketch, but that black rectangle might go better around his head.

its got a nice style, i think the shading could've been handled more rough looking to go with the style of it all. It pretty rough already but on some spots it looks too nicely rendered

I agree with Blaze that the shading could be more drastic.

One thing I would like to see is more of his "clamp hand". Seems like an interesting weapon, and I think it would be fun, and helpful, to see some more of it. Maybe do some studies and show us the mechanics of it?

cheers guys for the comments, rendering with markers is fun, and i need more practice to see what effects can be made.

Here is a little troll guy, he walks on sharp stilts which could also be weapons. hope you like it. CC welcomed

i like the jagged line cartoony feel, slightly mignola-ish. i think whats missing a bit is a sense of balance tho. you've got some fun ideas for weapons, but ditto with whats been said, i'd like to see a bit more the mechanics of it. You can do something more interesting with the attachment of those spike stilts for example. coolstuff~
