Again great studies and digital paintings,
but the posemaniacs you could do better,
I learned allot from this video on youtube, this guy is drawing with a round marker, it makes sure your shapes stay simple.
    hope it helps,

    Greets,Tom

Flutic, thanks, and yeah, I suck with lines, and I'm not good with poses anyway, need to work harder lol.

So today, I decided to rethink my approach to studying anatomy, Cole Eastburn has highly impressed me and yeah, he's awesome, so I decided to do those studies more from mind and memorize the content of the books. No more copying... I hope. Well, actually I had to look in my book very often for these
Gotta say, this approach is way more fun.

Anatomy is sweet dude! Watch that portrait, though. You are still stressing the features too much and not the structure.

Wtf man! I take my eyes off of you for 2 seconds and you update with heaps of awesome stuff Really diggin' the anatomy studies and you're really improving with just about everything. Also, maybe try some really strange colours for skin tones? Like blue or green or something? Might be good practise.

~Faust~, thanks man, and thanks again for the great advice! You're right, I need to concentrate more on structure...

Clochette, oh thanks my dear It's, err, it's a creature! Yeah, that's what it is.

EtherRain, haha, I'm sorry, your fault for letting me unsurveillanced :'D Just kidding, thanks a bunch man. About colors, there's actually a lot of greens in there already... but, yeah. I need to move further out of my comfort zone. Sorry about not being online man, it's been a little hectic these days...

Soja, wow awesome, thank you dude! Augsburg huh? That's not far! Not far at all! Maybe we can meet some day?

atlantik, damn you're right, look at today's update, just for you, it's aaaaall pencil

Oh. My. God. LBM yesterday was incredible. I met so many amazing artists, and everyone was so nice. We went over to Janaschi's place (she's so cool!) to talk and eat and be happy and it was soooo great, I'm so inspired, I really want to improve now. So that's why I got up this morning and started to draw!!

Hello again, im happy to see that you wasnt wasting your time. I like to check your sketcbook it always feels refreshing to see some new stuff here .
I would like to ask you where do you get all those 30sec poses or do you just do them from imagination ,because i think i want to try that thing too.
And also keep practising on your pencil skills .And try not to overdo the lines like you do.

P.s. Im moving to Germany in a week , Cologne is the city. So im going to live there for a couple of months .

    Cheers.

~Faust~, thanks, and yeah, it was totally amazing!!

atlantik, thanks a bunch man, and I've finally come to enjoy penciling Thanks for the support man

    ~Faust~
, atlantik did ask me if I could help him with colors as well, would you mind if I mentored the both of you in the same thread? I have yet to think of a good way to teach that stuff though, so please don't be mad if it doesn't happen right now

ohomoho, haha no, well I was wasting my time, but it's getting less, I'm working on that part Thanks man. Moving to germany huh? Köln is quite far away from here, but maybe there'll be a chance to meet some day!
Those 30 second poses are from www.posemaniacs.com, that site is really great, you should check it out Thanks for the crit as well, yeah I guess my lines are pretty hard, I'm trying to loosen up though, and maybe I should leave the level adjustments alone o_O

Soja, German Sketch meet? Never heard of it, but sounds awesome! Maybe I'll make it, if I find the time. Thanks a bunch man, and you're right about my lines. But I'm sure those will get better as I move forward

Leysan, ty Great to hear, keep going!

    Lotet, wow thanks!

    Quinn Simoes, thank you Sir!

    Also sag bescheid.

Really nice face studies. You've definitely grasped the correct proportions and shapes. You should try more variety in the appearances though. Like some crinkly old people, or chubby people and people with large nose and eyebrows. Mix up your palette and add more character to your faces.
