Been experimenting with a little freeware tool called Artweaver today. Seems cool, like a Photoshop-Painter-Hybrid (I don't have either). The brush system is nice, but new to me, as I've only been using SAI and openCanvas, which don't work spacing-based.
So here's some quick thumbnails, trying to get some brush settings I like:

    Two openCanvas girls:

This one was slightly reffed, learned a lot about brushes and values:

    And some 60 second poses.

I wish i would have done more today :-/
But I'll tackle this week's EOW, as it was an environmentoring assignment

    Wow, so many replies!

ItalianHorsey, thank you, yeah, figures are what i need to improve right now the most besides enviros, and it's fun! Will do some more detailed ones soon.
    Nistarn, thanks mate
smid, thank you, grils are alway fun to draw, aren't they?
    yinteck, thanks!
Flutic, thank you very much, I'm always so happy to hear I improve

Well the hot phase of my exam period is starting, so I don't really have much time, but here's a chick i managed to throw in when studying assembler programming with my buddies at university, first time drawing with a ballpoint pen too, feels cool, kinda like pencil...

Also did some Vanderpoel studies today, trying to get my hatching follow the forms, was amazed by how hard it was, it forces you to think a lot about the actual forms, really great, will do that always from now on....

I actually felt like shit today, having headache and whatnot, but it's better now after drawing and listening to Yoko Kanno and reading the replies to my sketchbook

    Loolarge, thanks a bunch man

Had my exam in machine oriented programming today, it was hell. They asked stuff we weren't taught yet, as it's a third semester's subject, and I am first semester, and 90 minutes were much to little time, and everybody think they failed But I at least solved 4 out of 6 tasks and could draw on the way home, so it was alright.

Here's sketches on the bus. I am amazed how easy this follow-the-forms hatching is, how much it improves the workflow, and how much better it looks.
    Attachment 301516

    And vanderpoel studies.
    Attachment 301517

And poses, 60 seconds. reached 500, yaaay. And I learned something important when doing these today, I start to look for specific aspects of the pose, how the energy flows in the figure. Hard to describe, i shall do more of these. I also feel I begin to understand things about lineweight and emphasis I didn't understand before. Aaah makes me wanna practice so much more.

fantastic studies of facial features, them are on my list to do soon!

I think you learned a good deal in this one, it looks quite successful in creating depth

The environmentoring was cool, your just doing it based on the lessons that already happened correct?

Pretty awesome studies and your digital work is making progress . But watch out for the scribbling , it might mess your work up. If its not a sketch.

    Lotet, thanks, I will
skorpi, cool, you're there to? Thanks for stopping by!
flamable, thank you. You're right about the scribbling, I have to make my lines a lot cleaner.

So here's some messy sketches done on the bus...
    Attachment 302281

And some Vanderpoel studies, came out rather... not so good...
    Attachment 302282

And poses, 30 seconds each this time, I had problems getting more than the torso down. Guess I'll have to get faster
