Great values, great perspective. I think a little more attention to detail would help otherwise.. keep the studies going

Dude, so many poses! Your diligence at learning is really inspiring! Keep doing those, soon you'll have over 9000!
And as mentioned, I LOVE those environments. That's seriously good stuff.

kischi, thank you so much! A lot of my motivation comes from the lovely feedback here
Reika, thanks, and you're right! i shall do more detailed stuff in the future, but basics come first.
Maidith, haha, of course, yours are better, but mine have an advantage in numbers
Flutic, yeah it helps, get going! And thanks man!

So today! I got up at early, went jogging, then did some warmups like drawing lines and training eye and muscles and coordination and stuff, didn't scan that, would take too long.
Then I did some 30 second sketches:
    Attachment 302938
    Attachment 302939
    Attachment 302941
    Attachment 302942

    And some 60 second sketches:
    Attachment 302944
    Attachment 302945
    Attachment 302946
    Attachment 302947

And some digi thumbs. Didn't work quite like I wanted, so I fell into a deeeep pit of frustration.
    Attachment 302948
    Attachment 302950

Which made me doodle with ballpoint pen and brushpen. The first sheet is one with the aforementioned warmup exercises which i learned in the mentoring section, the doodles are refless, and the brushpen is fun, yeah it is
    Attachment 302952
    Attachment 302955
I'm happy with the second page, I think the ballpoint girl in the top left came out good

And i received Bridgman's book on hands today. Awesome. Here's the first studies. I. Want. To. Learn. How. To. Draw. Hands!
    Attachment 302956

Yay! Drawing is fun! Tomorrow I'll be at University again, studying for exams, which means I won't be able to practice as much as today D:

Wow, I just joined this site the evening and was planning on browsing through a whole bunch of stuff, but I feel upon your sketchbook instead and just fell in love! All your dedication and hard work is utterly inspiring, and you've improved so much! It's really encouraging to see such astonishing results. I can't wait to see more of your art (and start some of those crazy cool pose drawings myself)! Keep up the good work.

    lacadam, cheers mate, i will!
Luckysquid, aww, you dont know how heartwarming that is Thank you so much for your kind words, im glad i helped to inspire you.
Mischeviouslittleelf, thank you, and yes, i think pushing each other is a good thing I'll head over to your sketchbook O/

So today, I overslept, then did a lot of lines, circles, and ellipses, and then some Bridgman studies.
    Attachment 303717
    Attachment 303721

Then I went to my University, studying with friends, but still doodled in the bus.
    Attachment 303724

Then i did some vanderpoel studies... again, not good, but I learned a lot
    Attachment 303722

And some 30 second poses before going to bed These suck, I somehow don't seem to have the right approach right. Everyone else seems to be doing them with lines, while i kinda try to get them down with forms... but shouldn't that actually be the right way? Maybe I just lack experience.

    Today!

First, line exercises, then Bridgman studies.
    Attachment 304495

Hadn't done anything with color in a long time, so I just doodle away, without any lines, just blocking in, here's what I had after a bit more than two hours:
    Attachment 304499

Some more digi stuff from today, all done during the Themed Art Challenges over at deviantArt.

Love it!! I am a bit out-of-date, but #51 is my favorite, great style, it reminds me bumskee's work. Can you tell me where you get your ref. for 30sec pose study? I would love to do some really quick figure study as well. The recent post is sweet, nice fluid. Nothing can really crit, you're doing a great job!!

Gundersen, thanks man! and yeah, we'll see each other in class!
    alvukovic, thank you
UnSharpened, thanks dude. i'm flattered you even mention bumskee. i love his stuff so much. the poses are from posemaniacs.com, ill send you a pm in case you dont read this post
    atlantik, thanks mate!

so today, i had to study for my exams. next one is on tuesday and things are getting kinda stressful. after that however, ill have all time in the world.

but i still did a digi doodle in between boolean algebra and all those nasty things... tried a new, more "traditional" approach to skintones here, more blocking and less blending, instead developing a richer color scheme... i think it came out rather nice. without ref, as always.

Good sketches , and studies , but i think you should try to draw from real life a little bit , to get and idea of the natural human body , because in a study from a book, is how the artist saw the model , you need to draw what your eyes see.

    great work, I'm impressed by how much time you actually spend on improving your drawing skills _;
I mean- I knew you'd spend a lot of time for that. But so much drawings, so many different poses and stuff ... wow o_o"

flamable, thank you, and yeah, unfortunately you are right. i've been looking for a life drawing class around here ever since i started this thread, without success so far :-/ but ill do self portraits and studies from life, i think that will help as well.
mellowpurple, thanks my dear ha. you see. i just cant upload all this shit on animexx ;D

didnt do anything yesterday, because of exams. didnt do much today either, because of more exams. but here's a sketchbook page i did on the bus... haha, my pencils suck.
    Attachment 307001

and i didnt make it into form's environmenting class. damn it, i should have worked harder. that kinda pulled me down, and i was all emo, for at least two minutes. after that, i started doodling, without any specific purpose... here's what i had after 3 and a half hours.

I may work hard but you sir, are CRAZY. Keep up all the stuff but don't think you can escape ref just yet - it's time to build up the chiaroscuro and start giving your figures real contrast! You're still leaps and bounds ahead of me....

Tuff update man - loving these pics! The saturated colours are soo nice! Can see how the hands studies paid off. Skin tones on the 2nd ones face is good too.
Some anatomical offness on the ladies but seems U where more into the faces? Or is that just me....
    Anyways keep it up!

    hei,
i really like the fact that your doing hard work on the color AND anatomy part, very admirable!
your faces look good, its just funny that they are pretty similar (your girlfriend?) and that their lips are always VERY red.

again, great updates and post more!

Hey, thanks for dropping by my book. Really like the paintings, they are coming along nicely. Keep studying and working hard. On your 30 second sketches, make sure to draw the feet. Foot placement is extremely important in gestures. Keep it up!
