    Arsenic's Sketchbook

Starting out my sketchbook with some of last years art~
You know, so I can keep track of my improvement without losing everything.
    Hop you like

The first is a page of medical sketches done for my Anatomy and Physiology class~

    Feet!
    Boy are they difficult >:

    Figure drawings

    Lead strokes

    Many lips
Probably the best page of lips, or study, or anything I've ever done.
I enjoyed doing this a lot.

Silly, but it's the thing I'm most proud of.
    Took some dedication.

    ~

These are the most recent, within the last month or so~

This one's just a little something I decided to start, but never finished. Cool huh?

    Nerve fiber~
    More for A&P

And finally, I did this today.
    With some copic markers?
I feel like I haven't really drawn in ages. Time to get back into it!

i really like everything your doing, you seem to show a good sence of understanding that human figure and it's functioning.
The only criticism I have is your last pic of the women's face, the face looks very good the only thing I can tell you that i see wrong is her ear is a little too low, other then that it looks great.

    First painting ever:

    Just a little fantasy-like drabble.
    Also fairly old. And unfinished.

    Finished

A variation of the acid bird from an earlier post.
    I finalized the design.
And coloured it with crappy markers.
    Hope you enjoy!

hey thanks for the kind words in my sketchbook i like what you have here. my favorite is the shirt design with the elephants i think the line work, coloring, and overall design to it is great. also the hands at the bottom are nice especially having all those wrinkles in there.

    take care,

    N-man

    i like you pencil stuff...
also i like anatomical studies... especial that one with hands! nice!
also your lines are very acurate .. and that cool!

    about photoshop-painter..

    there are both cool..
working with painter is like - "wow this stuff can do that.. maybe i'll need that sometime leter"... or "wow this way is even better than i want to go"

and photoshop is like "i want my tool can make that" .. AND BANG.. it works.. just ike you want

as Android said photoshop gives you all you need .. and painter can give you that you even don't know you need

sorry for flooding.. and for ,y English.. i hope you understand me ...

hey, this a good sketchbook. i like the expression of your imagination and the creativity that you put into it. as for crits keep the shades nice and easy, not to hard or light. just the right amount of contrast. other then that like to see some new updates and more experimental creations.

About realistic hair... I just got this tip in my SB some time ago: Do not draw many lines, but block in the hair with different values. I noticed it's a bit hard because the values seem to shift from one to another about million times on the hair.

You're doing great with anatomy, keep it up. I like the hands drawing and the girls upside down on the wall. I really like the house too. Try a color theory class or painting if you're interested in those things. Great otherwise!

    -sigh-
I'm having such a block lately.
My imagination has a big piece of rock in front of it, and I don't have the muscles to push it out of the way!

    Yes...art block.
I don't know what to do, and no matter how hard I try and chase it away, it just keeps coming back.

    If only..
