    Epic Undersea Battle (lol)

There's a species of giant spiny sea star that eats coral.
A small but determined reef crab pinches at the underside of the sea star in an attempt to prevent it from devouring it's coral home.
I saw it on TV. 8D

Anyway, I'd like some crits on the composition. The focal point is of course the crab and the sea star. Even though this is just a sketch, I'd like to get some crits before I start to color. Thanks!

    Two words: CRAB BATTLE!

Haha, sorry for the obscure reference. Compositionally I don't find myself to drawn to the crab. I'm actually drawn to the space just below the octopus arm thing. Mostly because it's so busy in that spot. It may help you to make things more busy around the crab. Maybe it'll work better once it's colored, but that's my take on it.

I think the problem with pen&ink is that there is no Ctrl+z command.

writers and artists have a lot in common -- we both draw from life, we both paint pictures, and we'll both spend to many sleepless nights on our work.

I see what you mean, I did put a little too much detail into the coral bits right in that area.
I think once I color it, making the coral a dull color will make the crab and sea star stand out more. But I'll keep your crit in mind, thanks!
