    Twas the night before Christmas...

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the site
Not an artist was painting or shining a light.
The brushes were hung on the hooks with care,
In hopes that Saint Manley soon would be there.

The newbies were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of creatures danced in their heads.
With Stark and Diphallia in the lounge they shall chat,
And Justin yelling “Draw you pieces of scat!”

When out on the lawn there arose such noise,
I sprang from my sketchbook to see if it was the boys.
Away to the window I flew like a jet,
Looking out the window…… it’s Saint Manley ya wanna bet.

The moon on the paintings of Coro and Dobsky,
Gave us inspiration we all can agree.
When, what to my aching eyes should appear,
The Massive Black cock, and I gave a cheer!

When I heard his horses all neigh,
I knew it must be the man who started CA!
More rapid than 30 second gesture’s they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Android! Now Elwell! Now, Fozzy and Davi!
On Nox, and Djurdjevic! On, Wes Burt! On Dixon!
To the top of the site! To the top of the wall!
Now draw away! Draw away! Draw away all!"

As graphite was sprayed like the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, something new they did try.
So up to the sites-top the painters they flew,
With the jalopy full of artists, and Saint Manley too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard in the shop
The spraying and buzzing as the colors started to pop
I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney Saint Manley came without even a sound.

His shirt was all black with the Rooster all white,
And his jeans were all just a wee bit tight.
And then his knowledge he gave with a shout,
It was enough to make any non-user devout!

His eyes were so calm, with his pencil in hand.
His drawings enough to make anything seem bland!
His droll little mouth where his wisdom came out,
made him look happy, no reason to pout.

He spoke out some words, said to draw more and talk less,
It was enough to make the artists scream, “Hell Yes!”
And then he touched his stylus to his tablet,
And he was up the chimney without even a sweat.

He sprang to his jalopy, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew off the roof like a missile.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

    Have a good one!

australians celebrate it on the 25th too. i work with a polish girl who celebrates on the 24th. i guess its different depending on your culture.

hope everyone had/is having a good time this year, special thought goes out to those who have nobody to share it with, to those who are in dire need of the basics, let alone presents..

i guess thats every artist here covered, then!
